Hi Everyone. At my heaviest. MFP worked for me before some 5 yrs ago, helping me lose 37lbs. Pound by pound, I gained it all back, along with an additional 20 lbs. This is going to have to be a lifestyle change this time around. Too difficult to do this any other way. Consistency is the only magic pill that I know works. Stay focused. Wishing you all much success!

I am home. My scale was so upset with me I had to tell it in the App that it was I that had logged in.
Only did two hikes.
I brought the puppy along for one of them next year will be easier because puppy will be capable of doing long hikes. Puppy will need long hikes. Ate so very very much.
Now I should be fresh and focused for a while I hope. I can feel my joints going I thought we agreed to that sugar and fine wheat don't agree with us.

I am in ketosis and feeling great. Barely any cravings. I think the most challenging part of losing weight and maintaining a healthy diet is that other people have an emotional reaction to it. My theory is that they think I am judging them, but they are actually judging themselves. Their judgment against themselves makes them uncomfortable so they attack/compete/sabotage/avoid me. It is tricky to navigate.

08/01-193.6-(Trend Weight: 195.2)- I’ve changed my goals to 4 pounds per month instead of 5. That is one even pound per week with the half week being allowed for normal fluctuations or special occasions or travel. Seems easier and more realistic. Good luck in this new month, my friends. I hope we can all take advantage of the rest of summer and make every choice count. I’m rooting for you all!
08/07-195.8-(Trend Weight: 195.6)- This has not been a good week obviously. It contained 3 bad days: One day of travel, One day of a festival and One day of Bingeing. Day 3 was really just a craving fest after two days prior of being off plan. It’s really just easier to stick with the plan. I’m back on track now. The scale actually rose higher and I’m getting it back down but I have my work cut out for me. I just need to believe in myself and make my actions speak louder than my words.
