These comments are so rough! I feel for all of you. In my teens I got "Are you pregnant?" a lot. Now, I am in my 40s and my mom asked me to hide from her friend (also in her 40s) because she is embarrassed to be seen with me. My in-laws said "When you are this fat, you look like you can be your husband's mother!" My husband's mother is very short and very slim. They meant I look aged! These stay with me...

"You're a large girl, and you'll still be a large girl when you lose the weight" -great thing to say to someone who has spent years with a disordered body image and collecting thinspo

My grandmother accused one of my friends of having an eating disorder. I don't think she ever forgave me for that. Her whole family was thin and active though, it may have been more a case of not liking food or even just genetics.

I never really had a comment about my weight
But I was bullied in school for my teeth and my hair..
I used to be called hop-a-long because of my maiden name aswell…

And believe it or not 😱😱😱 I kid you not!
All these so called boys who bullied me…
Actually asked me out when I left school 😱😱😱

Well me being me…I told them to ffffff right off!

Whoever has said that to you…get rid…you don’t need that negativity!

You have to want to lose weight for you and you will find you will do better when you are doing it for you because you are putting your mind to something

It’s not an easy road! But I believe in you 😁😁😘😘 xxx
