Not a great start for October. These last three months of the year could be called the "Eating Season". We have to navigate our way through numerous Parties, Celebrations and Holidays. Enjoying the company of family and friends during the holidays is a good problem to have. My hope is, that with the help of friends here on MFP we can enjoy the abundance of friends and family while being more sensible about the abundance of food we encounter during the "Eating Season.

I lost 20lbs 2 yrs ago and felt amazing, Iβve since gained back basically all of it and feel like a sausage stuffed in all my clothes..theyβre so tightπ£ Took a pic of me and my colleagues at work and I looked so much heavier than I thought. Iβm only 5β1 so 20lbs makes a big difference. Iβm back on track and have been tracking food again for the last few days!9 -

10/01-187.2-(Trend Weight: 189.2)- It was a good day yesterday. Diet, Exercise, Water and Potty all came together as it should so there was a nice drop on the scale and on my trend weight. I wish everyday went as smoothly. Good luck everyone this round. We can do this, even with all the candy dishes in October!
10/08-186.2-(Trend Weight: 188.9)- One day of travel in this past week has put me fighting all week just to get back to the progress I had made prior. My weight is down a pound since last Sunday, but is up from progress I made on Wed or Thur (185.8). But I guess there is no practical use in crying over spilt milk. I will take that pound Iβve now lost and run with it. I hope to post in the 185 range again by next post. I feel like baking season has begun since our local temps have really cooled down and itβs a perfect time to have the oven on. I need to just stay out of the kitchen until itβs time for my pre-logged meals! This year I am going to try not to use my children and grandchildren as an excuse to bake (and buy) all the fall and holiday goodies that stretch out over the entire months. Shame on me anyway!

@Txtiffani - I'm 5' 1/2" I get a chuckle from people when I include the 1/2". I know exactly what you mean at our height it's difficult to conceal those extra pounds. Our goals are within reach. Let's make it happen!
@deepwoodslady - These cooler temps give me an urge to bake too. I'm searching for new recipes without white flour and added sugars or with foods I can substitute. Maybe I will try to fool my senses with some scented candles.

October 8: 167 lbs. My 1 pound per week weight loss remains consistent. I guess, any loss is a good loss. However, at 1 pound a week, I'm not going to reach my October goal. I'm going to look over my routine and determine if there is anything I can do differently to increase my weight loss or if I need to accept that my body only wants to loss a pound at a time.
