Had a great weekend with family and friends, but really down today. I don't know if it's because it's my 50th birthday, or what. I had hoped we'd do something fun for my 50th, but instead it's just another day...2

Hey all, still didn't log my food that day 🤭
However I do have some good news, Ive post another 3lb since last weigh in, and according to MFP I'm half way to my goal! I've lost a total of 22.5lbs since my highest weight (May 2019)
I WAS going to say I feel although I've cheated? Because I've lost 22lbs but I've not really put that much hard work in if I'm honest. But when I saw 2019 and realised it's took 4 years 😂😂
I suppose it's just from small lifestyle changes though. But I never really had fitness in mind. For example I'm walking more now because I stopped buying bus passes. But I only stopped buying them to save money, not to get extra steps in.
And I've not logged anything for months but I guess I just don't eat as much and I'm generally more mindful but I don't feel like I'm THINKING about it if that makes sense.

Either way it's an achievement I suppose. Makes me wonder what I'd achieve if I actually put the work in5 -
Hey all! I'm back. I essentially had a lot of excuses followed by legit emergencies all throughout this summer and I disappeared from the boards entirely. So.... I'm back and trying to get my butt in gear again. Starting simple with my goals as it's been a while since I really made any.

Didn't do my workout yesterday. Didn't log my food yesterday. Didn't really even eat that much, I just didn't do it. Starting to get a cold and rocking a low grade fever. I would really like to bypass today and sleep, but I have my 90 day proficiency review at work. I'm a little nervous about that as I have had very little guidance going into this. Not sure what all they will be asking, but hopefully it won't be too in depth.

I made this commitment on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday afternoon I had a scratchy throat and wasn't feeling 100%. By yesterday morning my over the counter test was positive for C. So...... I'll try restarting my commitments again next week when I can leave the house and don't feel so miserable.4 -
