Where can I find that book?
Itβs called Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Emotional Eating and you should be able to get it from any bookstore, or maybe even your library. Itβs not very expensive. I havenβt listened to the audiobook myself, because I prefer reading a physical copy β but Iβve been told that the narrator is good.5 -

I have been coming back and forth to this challenge for well over a year. I know I am going very slowly, but when I think of stopping I look back at how much weight I've lost and kept off, that keeps me coming back because if I left I would be many pounds heavier than I am now. My Fitness Pal has helped me lose around 50 lbs. (so far) in the years I have been a member.

Not any progress...but it is early yet Started at the gym today. Its been awhile since I have been to a gym so I actually really enjoyed it. Hopefully going to find ways to help strengthen and stabilize my knee joint where I tore the meniscus last month. The pain is much better now and walking has improved, but it still feels pretty unstable at times.

Total loss for October: The only good thing I can say is that even though today's scale weight is up (again), my average is down at least for this week. It's still two pounds up for the month though, so this little good news doesn't inspire me all that much.

October 21: 165 lbs. It's like clockwork. I continue to lose 1 lb. per week. I still feel reluctant to exercise everyday. However, my eating has become habit forming. I've gained a better restraint toward food and I eat impulsively less often.

October 8: 165.8 - had a slow start to the week but trusted the process and my whoosh yesterday and today. Iβm controlled over my diet but have to work hard to get steps in.
October 15:164.6 - have had a weird week. Have been on point with my food, water and steps but not many bowel movements and my body has clung to the same weigh range all week!!! This is the least amount of weight I have lost over a week since I started 54 odd days ago. But aim is to get to 160 by the end of the month and have another two weeks to lose 4.6 lbs π€π€π€
October 22: 166 πππ I have been down with a flu and cold this week. I KNOW I have eaten within my calories this week so my body has been holding onto this weight. I know it will eventually drop it once it decides Iβm feeling better. I have looked at my previous weight loss weigh ins and the 168-164 lb range was hard for me last year too. It took me a whole month to move past 164 lbs - maybe thatβs a weight where my body is set to be comfortable? Regardless there are 10 more days left to move the scales. I doubt I will hot 160 by the end of the month but 162 is achievable. Wish me luck π«£

Just little by little. I'm doing an intermittent fasting lifestyle with Gin Stephens' book "Fast, Feast, Repeat" and I listen to her podcasts, and am pleased because I don't have to count every calorie. Five pounds in three weeks is good. I wouldn't really call it slow. I also expect that at some point there will be some faster loss, and that will be followed by slower loss again. That's pretty normal. Don't let that make you feel like spinning your wheels. They have traction!8 -
