*Breath through workout: Exhale during motions that contract muscles and inhale on those that expand.
*Pay attention to fitness habits: Be aware thoughtout the day for options to be more active.
*Have a purpose: Exercise to burn calories and lose weight, to strengthen specific muscles, to challenge myself.
*End on a good note: Make time to cool down and stretch the muscles I worked.

I handled Thanksgiving pretty well. I was just slightly over my nutrition goals for the day. When the day was over and I was at home late at night I followed my husband into the kitchen and watched him eat some pie. He said come on it's Thanksgiving. I wanted a peace but saved it for this morning.

I was a guest for Thanksgiving which made it easy. Not around food in the kitchen and lots of conversation which slowed eating. Meal was a buffet so easy to skip 2nds - no passing bowls to temp. Happy with small portions of tasty foods.3

Officially 10 down this week, My goal is 120 lbs, so 15 more lbs to go ๐ช on Thanksgiving I had one plate with everything and dessert and it was good, I was satisfied and full but not stuffed. I felt a drop in my appetite and took advantage of it, so I ate less this week. The good thing is that I wasnโt starving or in pain, but I felt a slight hunger which I was able to embrace and just accept that as a normal thing when losing weight.

I donโt really have cravings anymore either so this calorie deficit is going really smoothly for me. It took awhile, I struggled a lot in the beginning, but I think my body adjusted now. I can definitely make it to my goal of 120, or maybe even 115. Maybe in 2
months even.

๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ: I was not happy with the slight increase, so I had a talk with myself about weight loss not being linear, etc. I started up some different weight lifting workouts last week. I'm looking to gain some strength. Not lifting big, and keeping with my cardio workouts.
๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐๐๐ค: Yesterday's leg workout left me with some soreness, but such a good feeling from being active with new workouts. I'm turning 60 this week, and I want to keep improving my health!2 -

๐ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐๐๐ค: went to a bday party yesterday and went way over my calories on Friday, that definitely skewed my weigh in this week. Welp, I will try and get back on track this week and keep being consistent. Iโm starting to see some more muscle definition and am feeling great! Iโm trying to lose 10 more pounds at least and then reevaluate from there. Iโve also been going really hard at the gym, and biking around more. I switched my workout split from upper/lower to push/pull/legs. Interested to see how Iโll feel with it. Looking forward to these next update!1
