    Hello my names Brenda and live in Muskoka Ontario Canada 6 months and Bluffton South Carolina 6 months. Two grown children, one married and one teaching in the uk, and our 11 1/2 year old white lab Tucker. I lost 45 lbs and kept it off but it’s starting to creep. I’m committing to weighing in daily. We have company starting tomorrow for the week , not a great time to start but there never is.

    Hi All, I am a busy mother of five slowly working my way to my goal weight. During September I entered my "Normal" BMI category and am now about 10 pounds from my ultimate goal. This will be my 3rd month in this challenge. I had never weighed myself daily before this challenge, and I am finding it to be so helpful and informative to weigh and check in daily.

    My goal for November is to NOT GET DERAILED BY THANKSGIVING. πŸ¦ƒ πŸ₯§ 😊 Let me tell you, I can really get derailed by a holiday. I may or may not log on Thanksgiving or the day after, and that's OK. But my Thanksgiving goal is to log daily from Saturday the 25th through the end of the month.

    Starting weight September 1: 141.0 lbs

    Starting weight November 1: 132.8 lbs

    Goal for November: 130.4 lbs Considering Thanksgiving, I'm setting my goal a tad on the conservative side.

    November 1: 132.8 I logged 🍁

    November 3: 131.4 I logged 🍁 Very happy with today's weight. Over the past week there have been several days that I ate at maintenance, and a couple days I ate well over maintenance. It was hard to tell if I was needlessly eating more, or if I really needed the additional calories. I've already got my activity level set to almost the highest one, and I haven't even gone running or done any exercise for over a week. I guess I walk constantly around the house, dealing with the children and doing housework, always on my feet, and I frequently have to do up and down the stairs to deal with something or put something away, so maybe that burns a lot sometimes. For a while there I thought I was "failing" because I could not hit my calorie goal.
    November 4: 131.0 I logged 🍁
    November 5: 130.8
    November 6: 132.2 I logged 🍁
    November 7: 131.8 I logged 🍁

    November 10: 131.2 I logged 🍁 Had a really bad day yesterday. Ended up overeating and eating too much chocolate. Hopefully it won't cause my weight to spike up. Today is a new day.

    November 16: 131.2 I logged 🍁 There's that familiar number again, lol. Time break through it again, especially these days before Thanksgiving. By the way, for the first time we have a pasture raised grassfed turkey this year for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to it.
    November 17: 130.2 I logged 🍁 Yessss!! Happy dance.
    November 18: 129.4 My scale is doing funny things. I'm not sure how accurate it is. At first it said 131.8 which is possible but unlikely (if the other readings this month were correct). So I got on again and it said 129.4 twice, so I'll go with that. But then I got on again about 30 minutes later and it said 127.0. That's highly unlikely also. Wondering if my scale is just not very good anymore.

    November 19: 128.2 ??? Again, I have a hard time believing this is correct. I might fiddle around with my scale, look into calibration like ManifestingToday suggested, or replace the batteries. First it said 126.6! No way. Then it said 127.0. Then it said 128.2 three times. My guess would be that 130-131 is more accurate. But I don't know. Another note-- yesterday was full of surprises. The day did NOT go as planned. Calorie counting and all cares for weight loss ended up out the window. Ended up going to a restaurant and just eating a lot. So I expected to see a weight gain, if not from extra calories then at least water retention. I'm wondering if I did have a gain but my scale is off and not reflecting it. Or I could actually have had a loss like it says. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Well, I will just keep on with the usual logging, stick to my plans, and hopefully figure out what's up with my scale.

    November 20: 131.6 I logged 🍁 I am not super happy with my scale right now. Yesterday after I posted here, I turned it over and did not find any recalibration ability, but there is a button to change to kg. So I pushed it a couple times and set it back on pounds. Put it back down again, hopped back on and it said 131.4 I think. I think today's reading is probably pretty accurate..... It's a little disappointing to figure out that the scale has a 5-pound inaccuracy window. How am I supposed to know what's going on? I'll just keep logging and trying, and I'll keep getting on the thing every day and try not to worry too much about it. Let me know if any of you have any thoughts or advice on this.

    November 21: 129.6 I logged 🍁 Stepped on the scale multiple times again and this is what I kept getting, so I'll go with it.

    November 23: 127.8 Happy Thanksgiving! Here are my goals from now to the end of the month: 1) Enjoy Thanksgiving today and don't worry about calories. No logging. 2) Don't worry about calories tomorrow either. Logging optional. 3) From Saturday through Nov. 30, my goal is to log daily and check in here daily. 4) If my calories are over for a while, to get back to my calorie goal by Nov. 30.

    November 25: 130.6 I logged 🍁 I am filled with a lot of yummy food. I'm stuffed like a turkey! Today my goal is to log.

    Last week my calories intake was mostly in the negative side. My days were quite unusual and contributed to that. However, the weight result was great, and I'm very happy! πŸŽ‰

    This week I'll try to do better in the calories total.

    Stress and my undiagnosed ADD has gotten the best of me these last couple of weeks. I'm sorry I have not been very supportive and disappeared again. I found out that the job offer from the State did not have a start date and with my seasonal job ending next month, I needed to find something that I could count on, so I took the next job offered to me. I start today, so I am trying to create some new routines with this new start!

    11/26-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- Our Thanksgiving Dinner was wonderful yesterday. Too much food! Today I travel to the movie theater with my grandson (5 yrs old), daughter, daughter-in-law and other (4 yr old) grandson. I just learned there is a theater about 60 miles from my house each way so off to see Trolls it is! I promised the 5 yr old I would take him to the movies and get popcorn if he would stop pooping his pants. I promised him during the summer and it’s been weeks now that he has stayed clean. A promise is a promise so that older overweight lady with the fake smile plastered on her face in the theater today will be me. I do love the movies and want to teach that love to my grandchildren. I’m just more of a Disney or Pixar fan. I also like Illumination Studios pretty well too. The good thing about Trolls: It is guaranteed to always have good music in it.

    I'm creeping up the scale in the wrong direction. We have been too creative with Thanksgiving leftovers. Turkey pot pie, turkey tetrazzini, and turkey sandwiches with cranberry sauce have sabotaged my diet. I am weak and can't resist the temptation of having so many leftovers. Lucky for me I have consumed most of the turkey. Hopefully, there is enough of November left to make a comeback, (2 Days) Ha!

    Goal for November: 130.4 lbs Considering Thanksgiving, I'm setting my goal a tad on the conservative side.

    November 3: 131.4 I logged 🍁 Very happy with today's weight. Over the past week there have been several days that I ate at maintenance, and a couple days I ate well over maintenance. It was hard to tell if I was needlessly eating more, or if I really needed the additional calories. I've already got my activity level set to almost the highest one, and I haven't even gone running or done any exercise for over a week. I guess I walk constantly around the house, dealing with the children and doing housework, always on my feet, and I frequently have to do up and down the stairs to deal with something or put something away, so maybe that burns a lot sometimes. For a while there I thought I was "failing" because I could not hit my calorie goal.

    November 16: 131.2 I logged 🍁 There's that familiar number again, lol. Time break through it again, especially these days before Thanksgiving. By the way, for the first time we have a pasture raised grassfed turkey this year for Thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to it.
    November 17: 130.2 I logged 🍁 Yessss!! Happy dance.
    November 18: 129.4 My scale is doing funny things. I'm not sure how accurate it is. At first it said 131.8 which is possible but unlikely (if the other readings this month were correct). So I got on again and it said 129.4 twice, so I'll go with that. But then I got on again about 30 minutes later and it said 127.0. That's highly unlikely also. Wondering if my scale is just not very good anymore.

    November 19: 128.2 ??? Again, I have a hard time believing this is correct. I might fiddle around with my scale, look into calibration like ManifestingToday suggested, or replace the batteries. First it said 126.6! No way. Then it said 127.0. Then it said 128.2 three times. My guess would be that 130-131 is more accurate. But I don't know. Another note-- yesterday was full of surprises. The day did NOT go as planned. Calorie counting and all cares for weight loss ended up out the window. Ended up going to a restaurant and just eating a lot. So I expected to see a weight gain, if not from extra calories then at least water retention. I'm wondering if I did have a gain but my scale is off and not reflecting it. Or I could actually have had a loss like it says. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Well, I will just keep on with the usual logging, stick to my plans, and hopefully figure out what's up with my scale.

    November 20: 131.6 I logged 🍁 I am not super happy with my scale right now. Yesterday after I posted here, I turned it over and did not find any recalibration ability, but there is a button to change to kg. So I pushed it a couple times and set it back on pounds. Put it back down again, hopped back on and it said 131.4 I think. I think today's reading is probably pretty accurate..... It's a little disappointing to figure out that the scale has a 5-pound inaccuracy window. How am I supposed to know what's going on? I'll just keep logging and trying, and I'll keep getting on the thing every day and try not to worry too much about it. Let me know if any of you have any thoughts or advice on this.

    November 21: 129.6 I logged 🍁 Stepped on the scale multiple times again and this is what I kept getting, so I'll go with it.

    November 23: 127.8 Happy Thanksgiving! Here are my goals from now to the end of the month: 1) Enjoy Thanksgiving today and don't worry about calories. No logging. 2) Don't worry about calories tomorrow either. Logging optional. 3) From Saturday through Nov. 30, my goal is to log daily and check in here daily. 4) If my calories are over for a while, to get back to my calorie goal by Nov. 30.

    11/22 - 64.4 - Didn't lose anything, but did well today re diet. Didn't get to do a walk that I'd hoped to do though, which was annoying. There's hope for tomorrow though 😊
    11/23 - 63.7 - Movement on the weight front πŸ™Œ. Diet has been good. Managed a walk yesterday, though had to cancel gym appointment today due to something coming up. I plan to go tomorrow morning instead though. If I can, I'll go for a walk again today.
    11/24 – 63.7 - Have to go out tonight, so I won't be able to stick to the diet 😬. Will have to get back on the waggon tomorrow! Went to gym in the morning though, so that's good πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ

    11/26 – 63.7 - I'm relieved my night out didn't set me back. I did try to stick to healthier, low calorie dishes, but I still ate & drank as much as I wanted. Went for a walk today also.
