    Round 243: My Round 2!!

    I am a 52-year-old female, who has struggled with weight her whole life, trying to make some permanent lifestyle changes that lead to permanent weight loss.

    I weigh in stones because I think it is a great way to make mini goals.
    Goal # 1: <15 stone by January 1st, 2024

    Starting Date: November 19th, 2023
    Starting Weight: 15 stone, 10 pounds (aka 220 lbs.)

    Round 242: 220 lbs. to 216 lbs. (-4 lbs.)

    Starting weight: 15 stone, 6 pounds (aka 216 lbs.)
    11/28 – 15 stone, 7 pounds (aka 217 lbs.) ahh!!! Up from last round

    73 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

    Back for 10 more days of losing at a snail's pace 🐌, trying to be healthy
    Round 1 sw= 175.6 ew=174.8
    Round 2 sw= 175.4 ew= 173.2
    Round 3 sw= 172.6
    Goal = 164.5 = bmi 24.999

    11/28 = 172.6 tw 174.5 ate well, slept well, didn't walk
    11/29 = 171.4 tw 174.1 slept well, walked, ate--(hangs her head in shame and slinks into the corner)
    11/30 = 172.4 tw 173.9 slept well, shorter walk, had to rest on the way home. Didn't eat as well as I should have, but much better than the day before. Trying to get back on track. Oops! I mean getting back on track.
    12/1 = 172.0 tw 173.6 slept well, shorter walk. Food was best of choices available. Good day.
    12/2 = 173.6 tw 173.6 what the heck? Slept well, shorter walk. Under calories, mostly fruit & veg, needed protein. Slightly stressful day. Bought some new jeans. Don't really like them, but cheap & temporary, so it's OK
    12/3 = 173.8 tw 173.7 I have had pain in my stomach since my hysterectomy all day every day, until TODAY i woke up with no pain. Still none 30 minutes later! I don't know what to do, how to act.
    12/4 = 174.2 tw 173.7 slept ok, no walk, ate a lot of good for me food.
    12/5 = 174.4 tw 173.8 slept well, no walk. Gall bladder attack. Food to calm it.
    12/6 = 174.6 tw 173.9 no walk, ate better, but need improvement
    12/8 = 177.8
    Didn't weigh yesterday. Gall bladder was worse than I thought. Lots of crackers and yogurt the last 2 days. A real setback in my weight loss journey. But a few years ago it might have been 20 pounds before I stopped it. Or maybe the end. So I still call it a win. Better habits and more knowledge. I'll just pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again.
    Anyway, in case you didn't know (I didn't), here's what happens to Libra.
