12/8 SW- 230- Day 1 is always easy. (I've had a lot of them.) Day 10; now that will be the challenge.
~ I started a new healthy eating plan today, increasing protein to satisfy my appetite. Logging food and exercise for accountability. I'm six weeks out after my 2nd knee replacement. I have a mini-goal to be a size 14 (now sz 22) by our 50th anniversary Oct '24.

12/07 …..179.2….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND

12/08 -179.0- (Trend weight 181.0) An internal celebration today and another near one! The celebration: I have officially moved from the Obese category to the Overweight category by the skin of my teeth. Literally, by decimal points I have made it. My last super big deal accomplishment was getting into Onederland and this, my friends is so much bigger and more important to me than even that. It is not just a number to me. It is a symbol of health. My near celebration today: I am 0.1 point away from my lowest weight in 5 ½ years according to any records I have. I really thought I would hit it today but life doesn’t always cater to us, now does it? You can bet that I am going to be stellar, as perfect as a human can, fastidious and compulsive even, to get that 178.9 or less tomorrow! Progress has been so slow this week although my diet has been very good since the birthday party last weekend. However, due to being so sick I have had no real structured exercise for most of the days. Just on my feet more than usual due to decorating but that’s about it. It is really showing me how much exercise helps. I’ll get back at it, as soon as I am strong enough. This sickness has not subsided WHATSOEVER. These next two challenges are going to allow me to put all my new knowledge into practice and not just theory if I’ll just try. I mean, REALLY try. Good luck to everyone this round. It’s a tough time to lose weight or reach or personal goals but we are in this together. If you need me, I’ll be over there, as usual, in your corner cheering you on!

12/09 -179.6- (Trend weight 180.9) My “Foodie” daughter and DGS I babysit hasve been staying the weekend with me since Thursday Evening. She won’t be leaving until Sunday evening. She is a size Double Zero. She buys all the junk, brings it in, then picks at it and eats practically nothing. And I have that deep seated issue of not wasting food! I’ve got to stop being the garbage disposal. Today I will tell her what’s on MY menu for myself and politely ask her to not offer me anything out of her never-ending Mary Poppins bag.

    SW RND 244: 237.6 (as of 12/7)
    12/8 - 237.4
12/9 - 239.6 - I'm unsurprised. I went to the movies last night and had movie popcorn and chocolate. I woke up feeling hung over. Lately, I've been just getting a small popcorn and water, but last night I was with the kids and upped the sugar which also brought me well over my calories for the first time in almost a month. I'm not going to beat myself up though. I had a great time.

Just trying to be healthy. Weight loss is an extra bonus.

    Eventual weight goal = 164

12/8 = 177.8 more than I've weighed in a few months. Nursing a mad Gall bladder and upset tummy.
Life happens. Doesn't mean I'm quitting. Just means I'm taking a few personal days.
    Today's better. I walked today.[/quote]

12/9 178.2 7 pounds up in 10 days. Walked yesterday. Ate good all day. Still not asleep at 2 am. Got up and ate bad until 6 am. Went to bed and slept til 11. Slow progress. Held it together all day. Next, tackle the night.

    Hi
I am new here. I am not sure how to do this with the copy and paste!
This is my first time seeing this challenge
I had done MFP in the past with great results.
    Dec 9-starting weight 181.5
    Dec 10-179.5

@bethbosak20 welcome to the group. My favorite way to post in a group like this is to keep a separate text file (I use Word) that I just keep adding to every day. Then I select / copy / paste into the dialogue box.

    Round 243
    Dec 8 – Dec 17, 2023

61 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).

    GW Maintaining between 124 - 126

Continuing to figure out maintaining, and to work on best nutrition and exercise.

    History:
Harry and Han are our cats, who travel with us. Have two “kids”, who are very much adults, a DGS, and second GS on the way. We have three parents, 88(father), 86(mother), 84(MIL) still with us, and I have logically been needing to help them more as they age. I got my act in gear during COVID, somewhat inspired by NOT becoming my parents. I lost 30 lbs and was exercising daily. Unfortunately, I am an “all in or not” person. Hubby and I seeing our family home and downsizing distractions, plus medical incident with my father and all their new needs, became an excuse. A year and a half later, I gained 25 lbs and lost all my athletic improvements. I need to figure out balance and how to make health be a daily priority for life!

    Day/Weight/Comment

12/8 – 127.2 Yesterday was good. I tracked the full day, made good choices, and hit proper numbers. Working on getting my head in place. On a another note, DH spoke with me yesterday about helping him with MFP again once we get through the holidays.

12/9 – 128.0 Scale is being a twit. I feel great today. Yesterday’s pre-tracked lunch plan went to heck when the omelet from the “all day breakfast” turned out to be weekend only. I need to read better. I ended up with a much more caloric buffalo chicken fingers with fries, cole slaw, blue cheese dressing. Those were the best chicken fingers I may have ever had. Skipped the slaw, though I love it. Had seltzer, but the rest got eaten (did skip a FEW fries). Got home. Adjusted my tracking and had a simple salad for dinner, and and evening stella doro “biscuit”. Happy with how I handled the day. Today SHOULD be straightforward, though I don’t have a full plan as yet. But I will track.

12/10 – 128.8 Yup, yesterday started fine, then ended off tracked and un-tracked. Today will be better.
