    Same

    That’s pipe busting weather, sucks.
Good luck you guys. I hope you find a way to manage. Ugh

I’m looking into finally getting a generator because when we lose power, we also lose water and heat.

Ouch - yeah maybe time to. It’s the bullet on the generator. Hopefully you don’t lose it again

    Many people here have generators,
my ex, my mom, not me 🤨.
We don’t get a lot of snow but ice normally takes the power out.
I’m praying my screeching heater holds on through the winter.🤞
If you can manage it, you should get one, those suckers are expensive.
Hope you don’t have any outages! 🙏

Unfortunately, we have many outages. The good generators cost an arm and a leg but I’m looking for something that will at least just keep the water flowing. Cross your fingers my research yields something good.

It's barely snowing here and my patient's are cancelling and no showing appointments. Also my provider just left to go home too.

    Well water I assume..

8k watt gen should be plenty. Have one for decades.

Note.. higher wattage = cost more to run.

Check out northern tools gen.. look for one that have Honda engine.. (not the Honda generator.. they are $$$).

Extra money but worth getting one that can do multi fuel.. gas, lp or ng.

How the hours spent with your favorite human feel like minutes instead of hours.

....And the cold wind thats dropping the temperatures fast. It was 52 ° at 11 am. Its supposed to be 35 by 2 pm 😢 Not looking forward to the negative temps this weekend.

Ugh. Was hoping to leave for (and return from) the grocery store before the snow started, but got delayed dealing with a demanding new client 😑
My own fault. I should've just said no

When my son decides to start for home just as the wind and snow are picking up again and he’s driving down from a ski mountain
    Home

    Relief

When road condition & visibility got bad he pulled over and waited for a more experienced driver with a better car to come get him. They switched vehicles and crawled home. And then it stopped snowing
