January 8: 260.2. Not sure how that happened, but it's very encouraging! I must have been retaining some water somewhere because I was eating at maintenance trying to heal from being sick--craving lots and lots of oranges. At my goal for my HealthyWage challenge so i need to keep it up for the official weigh in. I plan to buy myself some roller skates with the prize money. I used to love skating as a kid; you couldn't keep me off the skating rink or out of the swimming pool if there was one nearby. Weird how when we get older we forget about things that brought joy and excitement to our lives. I didn't make resolutions this year, but as I have entered my forties, i have decided to prioritize my own health, mental health, and happiness. With roller skates See you all next week--lots of love!
January 15: 260--been really hungry the last few days. I wish there was a way to track that on Fitbit the way you can track mood and look at the trends like in the menstrual health section (hint hint, Fitbit developers who may be reading this)

You'll need to go over to Fitbit to let them know about that. This is MyFitnessPal, and you're in luck! There actually ~IS~ a way to record notes like feeling hungry.
On the website, look near the bottom of your food diary. On the right, next to where you can log water, is a big area for notes. You can write how you feel about the day and how what you ate made you feel. You can describe whether you were hungry or not.
On the iOS app, it's similar. At the bottom, on the right, there's a button you can tap and it will let you enter a note. I assume it's similar on the Android app, but I don't use it.
This forum is read only by other members of MyFitnessPal. Even MFP staff don't really read this, much less anyone who runs Fitbit unless they also happen to be a member of MFP and are participating in this particular discussion.

**Update**
The long, MLK holiday weekend has my days all shuffled a bit and I forgot to post on Monday.
Good week for my goals. I did not make my outdoor jogging even ONCE last week--but boy did I climb some stairs at work. I averaged 15,688 steps per day.
Did have a party on Sunday--but tracked my food (including a cookie and rice crispy treat--both planned and WORTH it).

Yesterday was a rest day, which basically means I didn't complete my planned 30 minutes of exercise per day. We are in Summer in Australia at the moment, which means humidity and the temperature are making it challenging to get a workout in my gym (outside with no air-con) unless I get it done early morning. I had a bad morning with the newborn, so missed my window. By the time I was ready at 4pm, it was over 33 degrees (90+ f) and humidity made the air feel like it was heavy and hot, so I gave it a miss!
However, pleased to do a weigh-in this morning and find I've lost some weight! I'm slightly behind where I should be for this month (should have hit 71.4 if I want to achieve my 71kg target loss by end-Jan), but progress is something!
I've been eating at 1900 calories to support breastfeeding, but considering reducing this to 1850 to try to speed up weight loss, while still eating enough to maintain my milk supply!
Think I will leave it as 1900 and wait and see what happens for the next few weigh-ins!8 -
I need this accountability. I have a long journey ahead of me!
1/8 Update - Iβm updating my January goal weight! After my progress in week one, I know I can do better than my original goal!
1/15 Update - Not a great week, but logged everything I ate and can look back to see my mistakes! Moving forward!

Total loss for January: Holy cats. I am down 2.2 pounds (average - 1.8 by scale) this week and 6.9 pounds (average - 7.8 by) for the year. Far too fast to be sustainable or healthy. The rate has decreased in the last several days. I am down only 0.2 pounds by scale over the last four days, and the average is catching up but is still looking back to ten days ago. I am actually up from yesterday by scale, but still down by that average. It's one reason I like to watch trends not daily numbers.
I am clearly back in maintenance. I can still lose five pounds and be in my maintenance range, so I won't mind if I lose just a bit more to my "ultimate goal weight" that I maintained for a couple years before September 2020 turned everything upside down.
I WILL be sticking with the program. It works. I'm getting in lots of long walks and cooking some really healthy and delicious meals.4 -
My name is Donna. I am 63 years old and I live in the Midwest of the US. I am 5β 5β tall. My highest weight was 253 in 2016. My MFP start weight was 235 in 2018.
Start Weight (from Dec 31st, 2023 ): 183.8
Goal Weight: 179.8 (4 pound loss)
End of Challenge Weight: xxxxx
Ultimate Goal Weight: 145-155 (Iβll know it when I get there!)
Weight in blue makes me blue because itβs a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because itβs a loss. Weight in black means no change.

01/07-183.0-(Trend Weight: 181.3)-
01/14-183.0-(Trend Weight: 181.2)- I THOUGHT I lost some weight this week and then my scale broke. I ordered and received a new one after a few days. Very strange results. The scale weight was higher than the weights for the previous days on my other scale (before it broke). My fat percentage MUCH higher, but my visceral fat is lower. I hate getting new scales because it seems you always weigh more on the new one. Oh well, starting from scratch I guess. Weβve got about 2 weeks (and 3 weigh-ins for me) until the end of the round and I plan on making the most of them. Oh, the best laid plans of mice and menβ¦..
01/21-184.4-(Trend Weight: 182.5)- I took a wrong turn at Christmas and have been on the wrong road ever since. Itβs time to swallow my pride, pull out my map and get back on the right path. Yesterday was a Chinese buffet for lunch and the childrenβs movie Migration (very fun movie) at the Cinema. I know I am retaining water today so I hope for a drop tomorrow, but itβs going to take more than some fluid loss to right this wrong. If youβve been around awhile then you know Iβm either full-steam-ahead on track or Iβm lollygagging somewhere off the beaten path. There doesnβt seem to be an in-between for me. Time to get back on track. No more shenanigans!

This past week I worked really hard at eliminating sugar. I was not 100% but I am pretty happy with my progress. Right now Iβm focusing on eliminating the obvious stuff then I will work on making switches from white flour to healthier alternatives. My goal is to help my inflammation and ultimately lose the weight in the process.6 -
I've been off the wagon since Summer 2022 and I've gained back about 25 pounds. I'm still 14 pounds below my all time high of 194.7 in April 2020. I stress ate for 9 months, switched jobs and continued indulging because hey, I like food. My goal is to rediscover moderation and get back into weighing and tracking calories because that works best to keep myself accountable.
