My youngest daughter turns 16 tomorrow. Three months ago, she was brooding, depressed, failing classes. Over Christmas break we took her out of her school into online learning. Like a light switch got flipped, she's smiling, pleasant to be around, and just aced a history exam.
That's awesome happy birthday to her.
My boy turns 16 in May!!!! Time flies0 -

Also the wreath I made for my office door
My WWII freak would like to come over there and teach these kids about it.

THIS made me happy inside. I've had similar struggles with my son, so it's wonderful to see someone else see victory!0 -
This morning my kitty, Blitz, sprawled out on her back and let me give her tummy raspberries (aka zerberts) while she kneeded my cheek and purred like a maniac. The warm fur, purring and happy kitty just gave me such a boost. The kitties have given me so many smiles!1

isn’t it funny how you still sometimes compulsively add up the numbers and pretty much have it all memorized anyway? At least that’s how it is for me.0 -
