Tomorrow I go to a DR appointment I set up to see if I can stop taking blood pressure meds. Back on Sep 13, 2023, I promised my Doc I would lose 20 pounds and clean up my diet. Hopefully, tomorrow morning I will be back at that 20-pound loss and my BP will cooperate. I hope to see you all here tomorrow with a good report from my Dr.

I'm so excited to be back for March- hello to everyone! 😊 I'm Kat, 32, 5'1". I have 5 cats and live in the country. I think March will be cold and windy here, but I'm happy to be moving towards warmer days.

3/18: 116.6 I didn’t think I was too off track yesterday, but something clearly isn’t working. I think I’ll have to go back to tracking calories…I hate the headspace it puts me in and I get very obsessive and competitive with myself, but I’m just not seeing consistent results without it. I might look into some of these upcoming challenges though since I thrive on reward!
3/19: 116.4 Well under calories yesterday so I was hoping for more, but it’s a start in the right direction. Happy Spring Equinox! (Though it sure doesn’t feel like it here! πŸ₯Ά)

03/18-180.4-(Trend Weight 180.4)- Down almost one pound so I am happy to see that. It’s unusual for my scale weight and my trend weight to be exactly the same. I’ve got to get that trend weight trending back down or I’ll never get out of the 170’s and get to cross off pink and get to purple on my chart above. What a glorious day that would be. I haven’t weighed in the 160’s in about 25 years!

03/19-179.4-(Trend Weight 180.3)- Man Alive! I’ve been so hungry for these past few weeks. I just can’t seem to get full! When you see a drop of weight on me its because I am going to bed STARVING, even after my snacks. The foods that used to help fill me up like avocado or nuts for a snack doesn’t even TOUCH my hunger. I am eating my normal β€œdiet approved” meals and leaving the table hungry. It just doesn’t make any sense. And it’s not exercise causing it because I’ve done little to nothing these past couple of weeks to cause extra burn or extra hunger. I really feel like I’m at War, Armageddon right now. The good news is the scale is down a bit this morning and I have an NSV to report. I baked some cookies for my work crew yesterday. A very small batch to ensure no leftovers. I walked past that plate all day until they were eventually gone. I’m so proud of myself for not grabbing a handful and somehow justifying it. Yay Me! That’s SUGAR ya’ll that I had available and didn’t eat!
