04/06 -181.6- (Trend weight 181.2) I started having some serious problems last night with a few of my end toes swelling up and becoming extremely painful. First they bunched up and then they became similar to inflamed. I am having a hard time walking. I know I didn’t step on anything but as a diabetic and former smoker I am concerned. I am having a hard time walking. There is no hospital in my county at all, but there is a hospital about an hour away and also a walk-in emergency clinic. I have no idea which one to go to or if that walk-in clinic has machines or equipment to check me. It definitely feels like I’m not getting blood flow to the toes and part of the foot. If anyone has medical knowledge and/or opinion on which one I should go to I would appreciate an opinion. Good luck this round everyone. I hope I can get back into the 170’s this round and move forward. Oh, the best laid plans of mice and men. Will I fail to plan or plan to fail, as they say?

Round 256: Net carbs <50g, Increase water and protein intake, HIIT 3x, Strength 5-6x
Since New Year, I've lost 17 pounds and a total of 20.8 inches from 11 different areas. 🥳 I'm excited because doing the work really does reverse the damage. I can see it and feel it and am dancing proud of myself. @ 57, 5'9 and hormonal, it's taken a long time and been a rough road sometimes.
Current weight is the end of 10+ years and up to 80 pounds!! gained and relost too many times to count. Determined not to self-sabotage ... now what? Weight was my focus for so long, I need a new target. So if I should lose an additional 8% body fat to reach the "standard" for my age, height and sex ~ and up to 15% to reach excellent ~ that's @ least another 8-15 months of work before I can begin to relax and think maintenance.
I've been eating @ a 200-400 calorie deficit (90-95% of the time) and Intermittent Fasting 18-22 hrs (75-85%). It's been working so I'll take it up a notch by lowering carbs, changing eating window to earlier in the day, breaking fast differently, and continuing to look for new ways to increase step count and add more strength.

🎷 65 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 256 (my 186th). So grateful @Quiltingjaine for another round.
Goals for this round; to lose! To be consistent and lose something. Takes me up to the day before I officially become an OAP! How can that be I can’t possibly be that old – I feel much much younger 😊.
Good luck everyone for a successful round.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, it’s taken me 75 rounds to achieve target of 130 = back to maintenance!! But then I crept up again, so need to get back to around 134. A healthy lifestyle must be a permanent way of life.

4/7- 187.4 it’s not a dramatic bounce but I’m in a bad pattern this last round. I think the big difference has been instead of doing my snacky afternoons and not eating big dinners, I’ve been skipping the grazing throughout the day and then making poor decisions at dinner time.
I will readjust when I get home from my epic road-trip with my elderly parents.7 -

4/7: Boy, I really can't get away from that 130 mark, but last night was worth it. Dinner with my DP's (dear partner) cousin at an old school Italian restaurant like the ones I grew up with in Brooklyn. First time I've met her, and it was a wonderful night and a wonderful dinner. I didn't order pasta, but had more wine than I should have with a fabulous sole dish, and an almond cake (3 forks) for dessert that was heavenly light and delicious. Perfect, and this is why I work hard- so that these nights will be fun but not permanently damaging! Hopefully back to that elusive 128ish quickly!

This is the residual effect of the past two days of too much salt and not enough water. Out shopping with DW yesterday and we decided to stop for some Vietnamese food. I had a “small” bowl of Pho. It was actually huge. Though very reasonable in calories, it was very high in sodium. And delicious.
Did some nervous noshing during basketball games.
My exercise was mowing the grass, hauling yard waste, plus some functional lifting of boat batteries. Those batteries get heavier every year.

4/6 174.2 Yesterday marked my 50th day of this challenge. Yay! Was hoping for better results but some of that is my fault. I've really got to do better if I want this weight off by summer. Met all goals yesterday. It's really starting to get beautiful out so I'm enjoying my walks so much. We live near the riverwalk, so I'm going to start walking more out there too. The scenery and wildlife is beautiful and its crazy how much it changes my mood when I'm out there. Hoping for a better round this time. Good luck everyone!

4/6 - 215 - Sleep issues and night eating associated with insomnia are my biggest focus. Its pushed me to gain so much weight in the last year. Very hard habit to break.
4/7 - 213.9 - Clearly a drop in water weight but I'll take it. Worked the plan well yesterday through dinner. However, I did eat a protein bar in the wee hours, so I had to restart my 12 hour fasting window over.
