    Being nauseous from a stomach virus isn't the best way to lose weight, but my immune system is a mess. (Seriously think I'm dealing with leaky gut syndrome) as it takes me forever to get over viruses/infections. Everything I've read on the subject points to that. At least I'm on the right path of
    healing it with my diet.

    04/09-182.2-(Trend Weight 181.7)- My foot is a little less swollen this morning after resting/sleeping last night. It tends to puff back up as the day goes on so I quickly weighed before the day begins. Today I am hoping to stay off of it a little more. It got pretty bad last night. I still have to call my PCP for a follow-up appointment on the foot and the wonky bloodwork. It’s a little cloudy in northern Michigan today. I think we may be expecting a little rain. In the meantime, Pebbles the cat is enjoying her first days back in her Catio outside and she is a happy camper. She got out yesterday through the big hole in the bedroom wall which was scary. You won’t be jumping through any openings in the construction area today Pebbles!

    04/10-181.6-(Trend Weight 181.7)- I’m still waiting for my family doctor to call me for the follow-up appointment. Things are unchanged, about the same as yesterday. I watched every B-L-T yesterday and it helped the scale today. I must say, I never thought I would miss my exercise routine but sitting or laying with my feet up is getting old.

    4/09: 113.8 Yesterday was very stressful for me so I know I didn’t eat enough. I expect this number to bump up a little, but hoping to keep the downward trend!
    4/10: 114.2 I’ll take it! I haven’t been working out at all so I’ll need to meet all my challenge goals for exercise in the next few days.

    @iLive2Walk I just bought the cheapest watch I could find on Amazon! The reviews said it’s pretty accurate for steps though. I work 10hr days at a desk and it’s been very cold here, but I think the next few days will be nice so I hope I can make up my deficit(goal is 5000/day). I wish I had a Monty of my own to walk with! πŸ˜†

    04/11-179.6-(Trend Weight 181.5)- Well, here I am – settled back down into that comfortable space of the high 170’s. I’ve been sitting here for a bit longer that I’d hoped due to setback after setback. I’m still grateful to have hit the 170’s but it’s time to start making some serious progress toward the lower 170’s and inch my way into the 160’s. Maybe if I stay quiet, tip-toe even, maybe the universe won’t see me and I can claim the 160’s as mine by the 4th of July. Yesterday I was hungry all day. I tried something new. I ate part of my lunch earlier than usual then finished it at regular time. I did the same with dinner, eating my side between lunch and dinner then my entrΓ©e at normal time. I saved my snacks for night, otherwise it would have been a snack binge-fest. It seemed to have worked pretty well. I’ve got to start changing my mindset that I must be stuffed full to stop eating. It’s okay to be satisfied. Food for fuel, right?

    MFP told me last night that I wasn't eating enough. I'm trying, but when you're sick, you're sick. Going to start sipping some bone broth throughout the day, to see if that will help with my nausea, and give me a few more calories to track.
