62 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW WW Sept 29, 2001 - 168.8 (initially lost 29.8, became staff, then weight up and down 18 years with low of 126.8)
SW MFP Sept 14, 2020 – 153 (lost 40, then stress took off another 2.2 lb with low of 120.8, then stress became gain)

Continuing to figure out maintaining, and to work on best nutrition and exercise.
History:Harry and Han are our cats, who travel with us. Have two “kids”, who are very much adults, a DGS, and second GS on the way. We have two parents, 87(mother), 85(MIL) still with us, and I have logically been needing to help them more as they age. I got my act in gear during COVID, somewhat inspired by NOT becoming my parents. I lost 30 lbs and was exercising daily. Unfortunately, I am an “all in or not” person. Hubby and I seeing our family home and downsizing distractions, plus medical incident with my father and all their new needs, became an excuse (father has since passed and I am DPOA, Personal representative AKA executor, trustee, and oversee the majority of my mother’s care). A year and a half later, I gained 25 lbs and lost all my athletic improvements. I need to figure out balance and how to make health be a daily priority for life!

4/26 – renpho 126.6 Made it to my MIL. Today is a repack day. Still not back to proper tracking, but I will be thought during my travels.
4/27 – renpho 126.2 Tracked perfectly yesterday and made good choices dining out last night. Hit my numbers. Online now for about 3 minutes to make my post. I have 45 minutes to do breakfast, deal with the cats and get settled into the car. We drive 820 miles today and stay overnight in Virginia.
4/28 – renpho 125.6 not sure how but grateful. Hopefully home scale will agree tomorrow morning. Calories tracked, but solidly over.
4/29 – 126.0 Home! Down around three or four pounds since the New Year, and my creep up. Glad I stopped it when I did. That’s an improvement for me as my life history shows repeat swings of 25 or 30 lbs. While I am in the range I have stated I want, this number is the max, so I would like to clean a little off so that my “bumps” still remain in range.
4/30 – 128.2 Yep, went off the deep end yesterday. Scale is confirming lots of salt, carbs and quantity.

RND 258: I aim to keep up my goal of staying within my calorie goal, and daily exercise for this whole round. The next 2 rounds will be a challenge since I'll be traveling.4/26 170.0 My weight is a little up from yesterday. Feeling a little blah and like my body is holding water. Could be the meal I had yesterday evening. Planning to drink a lot of water today. I have been slacking on vegetables lately so I need to start working those more into my meals too.4/29 169.5 Ate light yesterday but still snuck in a half piece of cake 😆. Thankfully the cake is almost gone lol... I'm not getting enough sleep. The past couple of days I've just been exhausted. Really think it's a mixture of not sleeping much and the way I've eaten lately. Although I'm still meeting my goals, we have eaten out a lot lately. I think that definitely plays a part in the way I feel too.

4/28 170.6 Busy day yesterday so I didn't drink enough water. Stayed in my goals but there was cake and ice cream last night.
4/30 170.6 The scale has been all over the place lately when I weigh myself, and it's fairly new. I try to go with the weight that I get 2 or 3 the same. Might have to get another set. I have another one that is newer also but it's not digital.

~ Didn’t really log my food until the day was almost done. Husband started the keto diet with me. He’s being very strict about it, minus the very light beer he drinks every day after work(3 or 4) Curious if anyone could give me and my husband advice on which vitamins to take and at what dosage to take them daily while we’re in the early stages of the keto diet?

DH wanted fish and chips yesterday & we didn't feel like driving downtown to the Irish pub, so we went to Culver’s. I had a burger. I rarely eat beef—it doesn’t agree with me—but it sounded so good, and it was, but I’ve had an upset stomach since last night. My system pretty clearly does not want beef, which is fine with me. Next time I’ll stick with the salad!

I’m not weighing or tracking these days, but I feel very bloated and heavy. Also quite lazy. Spring fever? Possibly. I have some big garden jobs waiting for me when the rain and wind stop and I’m hoping being outdoors more will get me out of my funk. Today is very windy so I’m thinking some indoor clearing might be good for the soul. We really don’t have clutter, but there are things I could recycle and places that could stand a good cleaning. I don’t like doing it, but I like having it done! Enjoy your Saturday!

Well, my experiment in not tracking is a bust. I weighed myself this morning after a couple of weeks of not weighing or tracking food and I’ve gained. I actually have trouble wrapping my head around how quickly I gain how much. 4/26 - 204.4 Glad to be starting a new round. I fell off the wagon the last three days of the last round. Very frustrating when I was doing so well. It's amazing what can happen when you go back to those old habits. The end of the month of April will be in this round and I had a goal to achieve. I'm going to be focused on that and do the best I can. Well here's to a new start and a new day.

4/29 206.4 I’ve not been very good about staying in the calorie goal and I’ve had way too many snacks. I need to turn this around today and finish the month of April a little lower.
4/30 205.2. Well that loss definitely shows that when you do the things you are suppose to you lose weight. Trying to keep this going for more than one day. My goal for the end of April was 205 so I was only .2 lbs off so I am calling it a win. May begins tomorrow and I would like to lose 5 pounds for the month. I have a lot of traveling scheduled so I need to be disciplined.

@Krysless2 I don’t know about vitamins but as far as electrolytes, magnesium and potassium seem to be most important for me. If you experience muscle cramps, drink pickle juice. The amount of electrolytes in mixes or prepared waters are minimal and pricey. Your husband will probably do better without the beer because the liver processes alcohol first.5

4/26 134.5 I expected a higher bounce since I ate most of a loaded baked potato. I got grilled shrimp instead of the intended lobster and passed on the warm loaves of bread.
4/27 134.5 We went for BBQ at lunch but I wasn’t hungry so picked at my brisket. Ate my potato skin for dinner - added butter, cheese and sour cream. Quite a treat since I have always loved potato skin. Today is French toast breakfast at the clubhouse. I hope they have eggs and bacon, too.
4/28 133.5 I’m surprised since I ate the French toast. The only other thing I ate was a small piece of steak (left from Outback) and 7 boiled shrimp with homemade bang bang sauce.
4/29 134.5 Great Greek yesterday. What is it about that that always causes a bump up or is that from the load of carbs from French toast on Saturday? Side salad and steak. I made a coffee cake and took it to neighbors but didn’t eat even a crumb.

Good progress towards the end of round 257. Sometimes I just get in a funk and get tired of all that needs to be done. I don't stop but it's not 100% effort either. Feeling good at the start of this round so here we go!
Within the next 2 rounds - I want to see 213. It's possible in this round but it will be tough but, who knows....

I bought a new cup that holds 50 ounces (it's heavy when full) but I only have to fill it twice~ it also has a clear top so I can see my water level. I was looking for a clear one that would keep the water cold so I guess this is the next best thing! Two days straight at 90 ounces!! Did not sleep well last night though. 3/4 macros🍎✅💧

4/28 - 179.0 - I've been part of this challenge off and on (more on) since Dec 2020. I haven't posted since Sept 2023. I'm almost back to my heaviest weight. I can blame this on not being able to exercise due to some major health issues, but truthfully I think I just started eating more and more as self-comfort and some depression. I never think I'm going to "really" have any major health problems (most people feel this way, I believe). Because I've had two major issues over the past 2 years, I started losing my confidence that everything was going to be okay. However, I'm so much better now!! And ready to get healthy again!! It makes me nervous to talk about my health issues (it's like putting it out there in the universe is bad luck - I know, I'm weird), but later I hope to post a few comments as my experience might help others. I'm glad to be back posting, Everyone on here has always been so positive and supportive of each other💗

4/26: 255.6, had a nice 3 mile walk with the kids & dogs yesterday, stayed within calories
4/27: 255.0, lots of errands, didn't eat out, stayed within calories
4/28: 255.6, back up a bit, went out to eat after my aunt's funeral service, so pretty much ate double my calories.
4/29: 254.2, instead of waiting until Monday to start over, I took a long walk, drank lots of water, and made healthy choices
4/30: 254.0, the old me would have given up this weekend, and would be up a few pounds... but i'm glad that i'm just pressing on and making better choices

4/26 162.2, BF% 43.1 staying within calories and did get to the weight room today! Mix of legs/chest today. Have lost some strength since December (last visit) so need to build back up.

4/28 161.1, BF% 42.7 early weigh-in to catch an early flight to go to my mom, who is undergoing a biopsy this week for a suspicious ovarian cyst (CA125 elevated). I did have room in carry-on bag for Renpho scale so will be able to weigh-in while here. Now to run to the grocery store to stock up on some high protein food & snacks, fiber, and greens!
4/29 160.2, BF% 42.5 Good news is that I am down 1 lb of visceral fat (the really bad kind of fat that accumulates around organs) so at least that is budging now! Day of phone tag trying to get mom’s biopsy scheduled. Cardiac doctor is out until Wednesday so can’t get authorization until then. PET/CT scan results concerning.
4/30 160.4, BF% 42.6 slight increase, but still great for the week! Got a 2.8 walk in this morning to go for a latte. Tomorrow have a 2 hour drive to take my mom to Little Rock for her biopsy and drain some of the fluid off the mass.
