New Year, New You Challenge

A lot of us are involved in challenges that will get us to Halloween, Thanksgiving, or even Christmas. Personally, I need to be able to get through all of those. I've decided to set up a 12 week challenge that will take us through the 1st week of 2012! YES...the new year is just that close. New Year's resolutions are really hard to do and most fail within the first or two...mine seldom make it through the first day! I know, it's bad!

The challenge is this...8% of your body weight and 175 miles. Sounds like a lot of miles, right? That's only about 2 miles a day! 2000 steps is the equivalent of a mile...we all do that in a day!

I will start the challenge on October 17th (that gives people a couple of weeks to sign up) and it will end on January 9, 2012!

That will get us through all of those wonderful holidays that bring us together with family, friends and lots of food...AND...the first full week of 2012.

I will work on a spreadsheet and we will track our weight and miles there!
