Round 269
August 14 - 23, 2024

Please join us starting on 8/14 for JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, when we will begin Round 269.

Anyone can join us at anytime during the round.

Join us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this.

Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!

Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. You have only one hour to edit your post. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

If you feel your post is too lengthy, you can add spoilers to temporarily hide the information. It is readily available by tapping the SPOILER bar. To create a Spoiler just type or copy [ Spoiler ] xxx [ /Spoiler ] Omit the spaces within the brackets and put your information where I have xxx

🐝🐝🐝 Goal for this round: less than my starting weight of 134.0. Need to beef up the water and watch the after dinner snacking. Old habits creep back in so quickly! 🐝🐝🐝

I joined this group in Rnd 245 on Dec 18 2023, when I realized I was eating my way through the holidays; I finally got on the scale and was hovering just under 150 lbs. It took about 4 months to reach my goal weight of 125. Sounds great, but I’ve done this before, which is why I’m still here.
It’s not just about losing, it’s about changing the habits of a lifetime that keep me stuck in self-defeating cycles with food.

8/14: My weight is in a great place to start our trip; this is the longest I've sustained a "plan" and kept at 125 in at least 10 years, and here's the big test. I made it through 2 short visits and our early summer trip, but can I make it work for 3 weeks? That's 2 challenges long!
No weigh-in tomorrow as the timing will be wonky, jet-lagged and 6 hours off, but the game plan is to track while I'm there. I'll be using the app instead of my laptop, so it'll take some adjustment, but hope to be here every day to check in. See you all tomorrow!

@judefit1 have a great trip! We will be going on our 3 week trip to Italy soon after you return. (I will not take a scale. I am really going to try to travel light. Especially with this flakey back of mine.)

08/03 …..190.6….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND

08/14 -DNW- (Trend weight DNW ) The last few days have been such a whirlwind of work surrounding my outside renovations that I don’t even know where I stand at this point. I am truly not even sure if I’ve done good or bad and I don’t think I have the heart to find out. It’s been grab and go, but less snacks so I’m a bit confused but today I chose to keep my head buried in the sand. Doctor appointment today so they will weigh me but it’s always higher in the afternoon and with all the clothes so it will not even reveal much, which is best right now with my current mental state. I will be going out to lunch with son after our appointments so tomorrow will not bode well due to likely sodium content of restaurant food. I may skip the weight until Friday. In the meantime, I’m in YOUR corner and am hoping for a great round for Everyone!
