            Hello all. Back for month nine. I'm really excited to start this months challenge. I hope to return to the twenties for the first time in many many years, like since around 1991, yes I'm an old dog. I have lost 30.1 lbs in 2024 and 43.2 since Jan 1st 2023.  I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
 ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
 My husband and I are retired.
 I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

 I'm not losing the vacation weight like I'd hoped considering I ended August at 196.8. Frustrated, but reminding myself that 1 year ago today I started this journey at 241.2 lbs. I've lost 43.2 lbs. Could be better but still proud of the accomplishment!

 09/01-
 09/08-189.6-(Trend Weight: 190.9)- Down a tad from the start. I did some day travel yesterday (restaurants and sitting) and I have a two day trip beginning tomorrow for some important medical stuff so I donβt anticipate that this will be my best week. Tomorrow's trip comes but once a year. Thankfully, what goes up must come down so I will try hard to watch my pβs & qβs while Iβm away and will work very hard when I get home to get back to routine. Iβm from a very very tiny farming town so I must admit that Iβm looking very forward to the city and all of its restaurant offerings. Not the best feeling to have when Iβm trying to lose this spare tire but nothing I can't tackle later and overcome! Happy Sunday everyone!
 09/15-193.2-(Trend Weight: 191.6)- Bad news-The scale is up after the medical trip/testing and Iβve got my work cut out for me. Itβs been a struggle since I got home and out of sync. Good news-The Mammogram went well. I am still in remission on the cancer side and the suspicious side is remaining stable so I donβt have to go back for 1 year this time. The oncologist appointment went well too so fingers crossed! I have two separate days of travel next week but I hope I can make good away-from-home choices and keep it clean on my home days. The scale needs to go down, not up.
