I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
My husband and I are retired.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out.

Total loss for September: I may have stopped the annoying gains; I am down a half pound from last week and that means I'm still up a third of a pound for the month. The context is that last week I reported I'd gained 2/3 of a pound, so I've dropped half of this month's gain.
I am clearly trying to put a positive spin on this because I still need to get much closer to the bottom of my maintenance range. I am NOT giving up!

09/22-193.8-(Trend Weight: 193.5)- It was a rough week filled with more travel than even expected. Bad meal choices at the restaurants and the typical lack of movement while traveling has really wreaked havoc on the scale. I feel bloated, puffy, and have a muffin top that Iβm not very proud of. Even the pull-on shorts are feeling tight. Time to get serious and show myself some love again in the form of exercise and smart healthy choices in my meals. Snacks are my biggest downfall and I simply must get control.
09/29-193.6-(Trend Weight: 193.6)- DD and DGS has been at my house since Wednesday. Her ice cream got hold of me or was it the other way around? 2 days of delights does nothing for the hips! Clearly Iβll show a gain this month. Things could have been different.

Hello all. Back for month nine. I'm really excited to start this months challenge. I hope to return to the twenties for the first time in many many years, like since around 1991, yes I'm an old dog.
