Nice run on a very busy day @martaindale !

@yirara So sorry you are going to have surgery that is going to affect your ability to exercise. I'm of the mind that the being in the best shape possible going into surgery will help with recovery and get you back out there faster. Keep up the good work and I hope you will continue to check in here in December as you recover.

    Sounds like a great run @kgirlhart .

Will totally do. Thanks a lot @quilteryoyo I'll still run for most of November, mind. Because: yeah, trying to stay fit. I can't wait to have this one :)

@quilteryoyo – Great photos from Barter. I thought about going to that play but haven’t made any plans yet. Thanks for the input!

Hope your surgery goes well @yirara and recovery is swift.

I’m not ready for those cold temperatures @Warmjellyfish! Great job getting out there!

Gotta love those idiot friends @tarun_yadavA. Looking forward to hearing about all the antics!

Lol thanks. I live in the great white north with maple leaves. This was just and early teaser. There will be colder to come... brrrrr.... :D

@tarun_yadavA great run. Maybe 3rd time lucky for your friend.

@quilteryoyo this cold and snow was just a warm up. More to come! I chose to live close to the Canadian Rockies lol

Have fun @tarun_yadavA . Maybe he's finally figured out the problem and this one will last.

Nice run @Teresa502 . Happy birthday to your friend.

I'm sure it is very pretty there @WarmJellyfish . Everywhere you live is going to have a drawback or two. You just have to decide if it's worth it or not. I just can't do extreme cold.

@quilteryoyo it's funny, I used to live in a really hot and humid equatorial place and now it's the complete opposite, but I like the free air conditioning 🤣

    67.40/80 mile goal

I didn't post yesterday. I went to the gym early, worked at daycare, and then did a true wun on the driveway before heading to church.

I went to the gym this morning and got a PR for deadlift of 115 pound x 4. I cut the session a little short because of everything else I had planned for the day.

After I finished, I went ahead and did a run over to and around a local cemetery. I was going to count it as a walk, but I went a lot faster than I thought I would, so a run it is....12:54 min/mile avg pace. Avg HR was 113 with a max of 143 bpm.

I ran a couple of errands, got my hair cut, and worked at daycare for 4 hours.

I left in time to meet my friend for singles tennis at 4. We played to an 8-8 game tie and quit. After about a 30 min rest, I played doubles with the ladies from my team that are going to go to the state tournament next week. I filled in for someone who couldn't make the "practice." (I decided to not go to the tournament this time.) I think I won one and lost one. I really can't remember. But it was fun and a lot of tennis.

@martaindale - did the doctor check your hormone levels also? Glad all the blood work was good.

This was cut back week in my HM training so we ran 8 miles and then met a friend for coffee and a long overdue chat session.

    Great pace @kgirlhart !

@martaindale I'm glad your doctor appointment went well, but I know you were hoping for an answer. It's frustrating when you know something is "wrong," but you can't find out what it is. I think seeing the cardiologist is a good idea. At least you will know for sure it isn't a heart issue. Did you ask your doctor about Long Covid? I'm glad you are feeling better on a lower volume of exercise.

    Sounds like a great Saturday @Teresa502 .

You got lots of exercise today @Scott6255 ! At least with the treadmill, you know for sure how far you went before you started the watch.

    146.73/140 miles completed for October

I ran 12 miles for my long run today. I kept the pace easy, but the last 3 miles were tough. The weather was pretty nice, but I was tired. I just have two weeks until the race so I guess it is about time to start to taper.

    Nice shoes @AlphaHowls!

@AmunahSki I can see how skipping your normal stretching would make an impact. Glad you figured it out. It is hard to figure mileage when you can only see three of the planned runs ahead of time. If Jeff's 5K plan is like the HM one, you'll be doing the drills twice a week and a long run once, if that helps.

You did great running while in Denmark @tarun_yadavA ! Funny that you got AL food there!
