    No she didn't and I didn't ask for it. Hormone levels fluctuate depending on your cycle and even the time of day so spot testing hormones isn't done as much anymore. Current practice is treating perimenopause based on symptoms because the symptoms indicate a change from the level that is normal for you.

    @quilteryoyo We briefly talked about long COVID. Not much to do but rule other things out so wasn't much of a conversation.

    I was supposed to run today as well but didn't finish work until 8 pm. That's too late for me. I'll be in bed in an hour. So I'll reschedule it to tomorrow. I'm on call this week so my schedule is more unpredictable than usual.

    Today I ran 3.12 miles. I took it pretty easy, but it was windy. It hasn't been that windy lately. I hope it won't be windy on race day. Otherwise it was a nice run.

    Thanks @martaindale I hope they can figure out what is going on with you and get it fixed! I'm with you - no 8 pm running. If I did, I wouldn't be able to go to sleep for hours. I hope today's run goes well.

    Thanks @SummerSkier ! It sounds like your business wasn't thinking past their nose. If everyone is in that situation, how are they going to have enough people to function the next two months? On the bright side, you will get to sleep in some days and get out for your runs a bit later...which is a win in my book! LOL

    Thanks @WarmJellyfish . Sounds like with your condition that you are doing great to get out there and keep going! Give yourself credit where credit is due. You are probably in the top 90-100% of people who have Thalassemia .

    Mom and I were running errands today, so I only had time for a short treadmill workout this morning. I did run a bit faster and did the mile running 2 min each at 4.5-5.1 mph, no walking. Took 12:38 min. Avg HR was 124 with a max of 134 bpm.

    Thanks @tarun_yadavA . That's some fancy food. Sounds like you are very adventurous when it comes to eating. I wish I was, but I tend to stick with things I know. Boooring old lady, I guess. Looks like a very fun trip and more impressed that you got up and did run-sees after passing out at 3 am! BTW, I think your friend so go back and tip the waitress what he intended to tip her. Poor thing.

    Got done with work at a reasonable time so I made up my run from earlier this week. Went pretty well despite it being warm. Hopefully I'll finish early enough to run again tomorrow.
    This morning I went for a walk before work. It was nice to get outside for a bit and by walking I avoided getting sweaty. I showered after my run tonight so I may try the same thing tomorrow morning. It's nice to know I got something done in the morning in case an evening run isn't possible.

    Great running @kgirlhart . I do hope it isn't windy on your race day and that you enjoy your nephew's wedding. My race is coming up, but not until Dec 14th.

    Nice run @tarun_yadavA . Great mileage for the month/year. That's a lot of running between now and Dec 19th, but I have no doubt if you put you mind to it that you can do it.
