    11/24-186.4-(Trend Weight 190.9)- After a hard-earned whoosh yesterday I have a huge 3 lb overnight drop on the scale on top of it? It’s definitely not going to last. Full disclosure here: Yesterday I took my DGS to a Christmas craft festival held at a nearby school. It said there would be food so we skipped lunch to eat there. Once there we saw the only food was take home items like fresh baked yeast bread and fresh baked bagels. I bought one of each.

    We got home and I proceeded to have a huge slab of the bread for hunger and emotional reasons which I’ll explain in a moment. I slathered it with butter. That was lunch. Later at dinner time I opted for 1 ½ of the bagels perfectly toasted with a thick layer of cream cheese. Very filling! Late last night for a snack I ate some of the neatly flavored and colored popcorn from the festival. I didn’t eat anything else because I was sure I was maybe within calories but way over on carbs. And I was full! With much less food than normal (apparently) the scale really dropped. It won’t last. I’m traveling today as well so that means sitting and restaurants which always ends in a gain for me.

    For my emotions on the bread: My eating disorders of all veggies and fruits (yuck) and many meats left me often hungry as a school girl. I thank God for those delicious mile high yeast rolls they would serve nearly every day with the meals. Often it was the only thing I could stomach to eat. They were warm and fresh. The small of the yeast is so comforting to me, even to this day. I felt nurtured, safe and fulfilled. I have lots of leftovers on these breads and I hope it will not get me into too much trouble.

    11/25-190.8-(Trend Weight 190.9)- So I am up 4.4 lbs overnight (from the whoosh yesterday). Easy come, Easy Go. Yes, I double checked the weight yesterday. It is what it is. Even with the unstable and unpredictable swings, I am still down 1.4 lbs since last Monday. Traveled yesterday, back to basics today.

    Nov 26: 2000 calories ✅ 200g protein ✅ 95.5kgs/211lbs. ✅😁 Also did a 5km run. My first run in 6 weeks.

    2000-2100 calories is too much of a deficit. But given I’m still +6.5kgs/15lbs heavier since Feb, I’m okay with this. Results will show faster and I know it’s not sustainable.

    2400-2600 is more sustainable while in a deficit. Can tinker with that later.

    11/26-191.4-(Trend Weight 191.0)- What a mess I am in the middle of. My crew has been sanding their butts off on my primary suite project and the dust is everywhere! Thick!!! To make matters worse, it all has to be cleaned up and all the furniture temporarily moved back in for the holidays including Christmas. All moved in onto the sub floor. Room is not near done but it will have to serve as my bedroom again until after Christmas. It will be nice to have my living room back as that is where my bed has been and where I’ve been sleeping. Everything is covered in a fine mist and the floor was covered in heaps and piles through the entire main floor over these past few days. I just couldn’t keep up. I worked my butt off yesterday and will be back at it again today using the shop vac etc. Last night I got 4 blinds cleaned in two rooms. I worked until my arms fell off. I did not eat good but I did burn a lot of extra calories. I just have to get through this. Our family Feast will be on Saturday. I'm still down 1.8 lbs since last Tuesday so I'm happy even though there is room for even more improvement.

    Going to wake up hungry tomorrow lol Might increase to low 2,000’s for tomorrow but goal for the next 1-2 days is to not have a blowout. Anything under 2900 is a good result

    I just got married and honeymooned and now I feel like I have new motivation to lose weight. I need a surgery in 4-6 months and that's a good amount of time to get some weight off so now I have a goal! With the wedding done, it took me a couple weeks to find the spark again. Finally found it! Feeling great!

    11/27-191.8-(Trend Weight 191.0)- Well, the last of the fresh baked yeast breads from the festival are now gone with the last two slices being eaten as delicious toast this morning. If I can get through this week without too much further damage then I’m hopeful that things can begin to turn around next week (after my weekend Thanksgiving feast). But I will be tip-toeing from now until then to minimize the damage. I won’t lie, I will be eating pie on Saturday. I only do that twice per year and I’m looking forward to it. It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without pie! Otherwise, I’ll be taking the high road and practicing as much portion control as I can muster. It’s a plan!

    Very little loss this month. Less than half a kg. But so far it’s at least down. Hoping to crack the 103 plateau. By January I want to be under 100kg. But I doubt that’s realistic. I need to lose 4kg in the next 4 weeks. Alright I will do it!

    Hi everyone. I hope everyone had a more success in October than I did. October was a crazy month. New work schedule and just life in general. Ended with a gain of 2 lbs. Here is to bright and successful November. November goals : start tracking food again, drinking more water, and more gym time.

When I eat bread I tend to gain on those days. My weight hasn't really changed since joining the gym in July. 3-5 days a week. Usually 4. My body may have changed a little. I really need eat better. Last nights dinner of Chips and Cheesecake were not good choices. It was just pure lazy-ness.

    11/22 - 160.2 - Thanksgiving lunch at work yesterday. It could have been worse. Had too many carbs, but had the best mashed potatoes and coconut cream pie (just a sliver) I think I have ever had.
    11/23 - 158.8 :smiley: Finally progress. I have worked out at the gym Monday through Friday this week. Strength and cardio Monday through Thursday and just stair climber yesterday morning. Finally started logging food again. Trying to use Macros, but not very successful so far, but staying within my calories for the day, so that's a win.
    11/24 - 158.4 :) Another loss! Didn't eat the greatest yesterday, but stayed below my calories. I didn't really eat lunch mostly snacked. I tried the Quest Protein chips yesterday. The texture is a little weird, but at least they have a bunch of protein and very little carbs. I can't wait to see what the scale shows tomorrow morning. I typically gain back everything over the weekend I loose during the previous week. I'm not letting it happen this weekend! Not sure I will make it to the gym today, but hopefully will make time to jump on the treadmill here at home.

    11/28 - 158.6 :( Ugh! Thanksgiving today. Lots of carbs, fat, and sugar are involved. I will try to mostly fill my plate with turkey. Lots of protein and little fat. Not my protein of choice. Might try to eat before I go to the family gathering, so I don't eat all the bad stuff. I just want to make it back down to 156 that I saw in September.

If I can get through this week without too much further damage then I’m hopeful that things can begin to turn around next week (after my weekend Thanksgiving feast). But I will be tip-toeing from now until then to minimize the damage. I won’t lie, I will be eating pie on Saturday. I only do that twice per year and I’m looking forward to it. It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without pie! Otherwise, I’ll be taking the high road and practicing as much portion control as I can muster. It’s a plan!

    11/28-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- I completely forgot to weigh in today when I woke up late and hit the floor running. I have spent the day using every vacuum attachment known to man and a bag of rags to clean out every cabinet I own and rinse/dry every pot pan, dish bowl, glass cup and silverware I own due to the drywall dust. Thank goodness our dinner isn’t until Saturday but I’ve worked so hard and feel like I’m running out of time. I’ve made great progress but Wow, this is so much work. Sadly, in January, everything comes back out of the bedroom and sanding drywall resumes. It has been suspended for now due to all the holidays. There are other parts of the project they can work on. I think I slept so late in such comfort because of my bed being back in the bedroom temporarily, even if there are towels and blankets over the windows and no overhead light. My back is killing me but the work is getting done. I’ll have earned that pie(s) by Saturday! I hope all my USA comrades are enjoying your Thanksgiving with lots of special people. Cheers my friends!

    Nov 27: 1800 calories ✅ 200g protein ✅
    Nov 28: 2200 calories ✅ 210g protein ✅
    Nov 29: 2300 calories ✅ 220g protein ✅ 93.7kgs/207lbs ✅

    3kgs/6lbs down in a week. But have tracked everything and been in an aggressive calorie deficit. Can lose a little bit more before adjusting my calorie intake.

    Have 3x 500 calorie meals ready to go in the fridge to keep me on track so no excuses!

    11/29 - 157.8 :smiley: Thank goodness that's over. Not a fan of my in-laws. They suck the fun out of the holidays. My mom was laughing at me from across the table because of the expression on my face. Anyhow because of the same old boring food I managed to loose weight. I went over my calories just a little, but I think the big thing was I got in all my protein and just barley went over on carbs. Not sure if I will make it to gym today. Sometime this weekend my friend is going to teach me how to drive my horse trailer I have had for 4 years. I'm long over due to learn. I hope everyone had good Turkey Day.

    11/29-192.4-(Trend Weight 191.6)- Still working myself to death to prep the house on all 3 floors for our Thanksgiving tomorrow and the houseful of Grands. It’s amazing how far the drywall sand travels and how thick it can accumulate. I will also be starting some of my baking. I woke up starving so today will be challenging but tomorrow’s dinner will be worse, especially dessert (pies!)

    Things are looking up. Got my catheter out yesterday for a trial to see if I can empty urine - hopefully it works. I’m exhausted from lack of sleep due to stopping other medication.

Finally started logging food again. Trying to use Macros, but not very successful so far, but staying within my calories for the day, so that's a win.
    11/24 - 158.4 :) Another loss! Didn't eat the greatest yesterday, but stayed below my calories. I didn't really eat lunch mostly snacked. I tried the Quest Protein chips yesterday. The texture is a little weird, but at least they have a bunch of protein and very little carbs. I can't wait to see what the scale shows tomorrow morning. I typically gain back everything over the weekend I loose during the previous week. I'm not letting it happen this weekend! Not sure I will make it to the gym today, but hopefully will make time to jump on the treadmill here at home.

    11/28 - 158.6 :( Ugh! Thanksgiving today. Lots of carbs, fat, and sugar are involved. I will try to mostly fill my plate with turkey. Lots of protein and little fat. Not my protein of choice. Might try to eat before I go to the family gathering, so I don't eat all the bad stuff. I just want to make it back down to 156 that I saw in September.
    11/29 - 157.8 :smiley: Thank goodness that's over. Not a fan of my in-laws. They suck the fun out of the holidays. My mom was laughing at me from across the table because of the expression on my face. Anyhow because of the same old boring food I managed to loose weight. I went over my calories just a little, but I think the big thing was I got in all my protein and just barley went over on carbs. Not sure if I will make it to gym today. Sometime this weekend my friend is going to teach me how to drive my horse trailer I have had for 4 years. I'm long over due to learn. I hope everyone had good Turkey Day.
    11/30 - 159.6 :( Too much sodium and rice yesterday. Ate Chinese for two meals. I hope it will fall off overnight. Pretty sure its the sodium. Oh and I didn't track my food yesterday. :neutral:

    Loss for the month .8 lbs. Disappointing, but at least its not a gain.

It’s amazing how far the drywall sand travels and how thick it can accumulate. I will also be starting some of my baking. I woke up starving so today will be challenging but tomorrow’s dinner will be worse, especially dessert (pies!)

    11/30-193.0-(Trend Weight 191.7)- I’m very surprised by this jump. I thought yesterday went very well. Thanksgiving Feast today with all of the family. I got the last of the drywall dust mess that covered EVERYTHING on 3 floors of this house completely done by 11:00 last night. I ate well and burned a ton of calories so I’m confused. I gained 3.8 lbs this week. For the entire month of November I’ve gained 2.4 lbs. A horrible week and Not a good month! Oh, and here comes December!
