My number one tip which worked for me to get up early was to first go to bed early.1

Hello , I am new here. I think what has worked for me is going to bed early but even if I wake up early I still struggle to get my self moving and motivated to work out . It is very hard for me and I don’t want to drink pre-workout to wake up . I am a bit stuck on what is a better choice than the pre workout, coffee maybe?1

Pre-workout is usually a high-ish dose of caffeine combined with some niacin to give you the "tingle". A cup of coffee or even caffeine pills offer the same basic benefit for a LOT less money and more control over the dosage.1 -
I know people can go workout and then eat, but I figured out ages ago, it works better for me to fuel first and then workout. Happier camper, who performs better. 👍🏻
The OP reminds me….Years ago my mom sold assistive devices for the hard of hearing. One of them was a device you stuck under your pillow, and it would vibrate violently when the alarm clock went off. She also sold one that was so loud it would wake the dead. Sounded like standing under an air raid siren klaxon. She had a steady stream of desperate parents of teenage boys who had no hearing problems buying them, lol.
Seriously, make it a habit. Good habits are as easy to create as bad ones.
I set my phone alarm to a song I love, which the dog (apparently) hates, and the husband is indifferent to but dislikes because it’s so loud. The phone is on the charger in another room (good sleep hygiene!) , so we have to get out of bed to turn it off, which then calms the dog, who is roiling around in the quilt by this time. He’s still startled by the alarm/song, even after all this time.1 -
I'd love to be a morning person. I'm not. If I go to sleep before midnight, I sleep 3-4 hours, and I'm up for the day. Help me, please.2
