Mo – I forgot to bookmark Dec and had to go back to MFP’s homepage. Fortunately, this thread goes so fast that it was on the first page. What part of FL are you going to? How long will you be there? Will we hear from you while you’re down there?

Rebecca – I had never heard of levske so I looked it up. They look really good. How do you eat them? Put a filling in them? What kind?

The only thing I didn’t like about an air fryer is that it’s so big. So I solved that problem by getting the air fryer lid for the IP

Oh yes, I use my IP all the time for yogurt. As a matter of fact, I have 2 IP's at home and one down at the condo

Kylia – I don’t like things on my counter, either. Let’s see...I have a cake dish (covered), measuring cups (only because I use them so much), cups of water, spoon rest, paper towel holder, telephone, google nest, and a charging station. I very seldom use my crockpot. They say you can use the IP as a crockpot, but all the reviews I’ve read says that it isn’t as good as a regular crockpot

Went to the podiatrist today. He put this stuff on the “callous” which is supposed to kill whatever it is that’s causing the pain. Let me tell you, it burns like h***. But I’ve also found that my heel doesn’t hurt nearly as much. Which makes sense. Because I didn’t want to put pressure on the “thing”, I was unconsciously putting the weight on my heel when I walked. Now I’m not. He also put a pad on it and I’m supposed to remove it in 24 hours. I do have an appt with him in 2 more weeks. This not exercising really s***s. But I am planning to go to the gym tomorrow to do some HIIT then go in the water. In the afternoon I go for my shot of Prolia.

Rebecca – add me to the ones who are so happy for your TG. Everything everyone else said

Carol – happy birthday to your hubby

I find it funny in a way. If Vince was going thru this burning, there is no way he would have gone to ceramics tonight. I went. If I can go thru childbirth, this is a walk in the park. I tell you, if they want 0 population growth have men have babies.

Had my boob squeeze today, then went to the Salvation Army (found quite a few things), an outlet store for bread, then the podiatrist. On the way home stopped at Publix to get the cheese for the pierogi for Christmas. This is the only store I can get it at. Wrote out all my Christmas cards (well, almost all of them) the other day and mailed most of them.

    Margaret – awesome decorations

Have the ceramic christmas party on Sat. I am going to make sausage cheese balls. Vince wants me to make something he likes so I told him he has to go to Sam’s with me to pick it out. Otherwise I’m not making it.

Jess called. She’s supposed to go to PAX (gaming) this weekend so I told her she could bring the animals here if she couldn’t find anyone to take care of the dog. Hope I can at least take it for a walk because I know Vince won’t. She said she might take me up on the offer because the one person she asked hasn’t gotten back to her.

Put my Miss Piggy in to be fired. The gal who runs the ceramics said that she was going to fire my plate for Colby and I should probably have it Sat.

Plan to stop at Food Lion tomorrow to get soda for Vince and go to Domino's to get a pizza box to put the plate in.

When I spoke to one lady in the train club because she does quilting and I needed to find someone to embroider the animal’s names on stockings, she said that the train club’s Christmas party was Sunday. Only so far Vince hasn’t heard anything about it. Maybe they canceled it? Not like it's a real big deal, I'd rather eat healthily at home anyway.

My only snafu was hitting my hand on a metal handle in the tricky place between train cars. I tried to grab, as the train lurched.

    Ouch!

Bad time for hands ... I am pretty sure I've sprained my left hand.

My husband and I were digging the Christmas decorations out of our storage unit when he told me to move back. I took a step back and a package of heavy wood bed slats and a heavy wood box fell from above. I immediately and reflexively put up my left hand to try to catch them, and one or the other or both slammed into my hand.

I have scrapes on the palm of my hand and the whole area around my thumb, back and front, are quite sore. My forearm also aches.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened! We both need a bit of TLC.💖
I rubbed mine on the train to disperse the knot a bit. Its now just a black and blue mark.
    But its sore!

The traditions of Norwegians making lefse was to use up leftover boiled potatoes. Nowadays we just boil 5 lbs of potatoes and make them on special occasions. You just spread butter of warmed lefse quartered, sprinkle with sugar and roll up. Some put cinnamon sugar or jam though.👍🏼💖

I had to look them up too. Then I text my former hubby- to see if he had had them(he is Norwegian/Dutch. He said he hasnt made them but remembers his grandmother making them. Took her all day to make them so he hasn't tried making them himself.
I looked at one recipe. It said you need special tools and special pans. The kit he is promoting is almost $200, I didn't look up the link for the pan.
Don't think I will invest in all that for something I haven't tried and wouldn't make very often if it takes all day to make them(and most likely, dh wouldn't like them)
