Get back on track. Stayed the same weight give or take .2 after TG. Today bob'd up 1.2 LBS, and i ate Burger king so i'm gonna hit my max calories for the day. I travel in 1 week so I need to buckle down.4

My first mini goal was 10% of my body weight. I did that, and the next goal was to get my BMI below 40.
A few days ago, I hit that goal, so my next mini goal is to reach the loss of 15% of my body weight. 4 pounds to go!
I have planned out a whole series of little goals over the course of this year. The little victories keep me motivated!
My first "medium" goal is to lose 50 pounds by 7 Sept for a big event. That milestone will also put me at 20% of my body weight lost. 33 down. 17 to go!
Quoting my own post to say that I met my next mini-goal of losing 15% of my body weight. Woohoo!
My next mini-goal is to have lost 40 lbs. by the time I leave to visit my family on July 8th.
3.6 pounds to go!
I just squeaked that one in, having lost exactly 40 pounds by July 8th! My next mini-goal was my previous "medium" goal of losing 50Lbs by 7 Sept for a big event. I think I can do it, as I only have 4.5Lbs to go and 6 weeks to do it!
I did it! I have officially lost 50lbs, 20% of my body weight, and also entered ONEderland! 🙌🏼
My next mini-goal will be 25% of my body weight. I’d like to hit that goal by Halloween. 👻 That’s 1lb per week so I’m hoping it’s completely doable.
Mini goals make the journey so much more fun! I like looking at the next little hill instead of the whole mountain and celebrating little victories along the way.
Today I have officially lost 25% of my total body weight! I had set this goal to achieve by Halloween and I did it a month early. Woohoo! 63 pounds gone!
Next mini goal for me is going to be to lose 30% of my body weight by Thanksgiving. That should be a little tougher because my weight loss is slowing down as I have less to lose, so that means I have to lose 13 pounds in two months. I only lost 5 pounds in September, so this time I am making it more challenging for myself. Let's do this!
Well, I got ambitious, and I did not completely succeed. I had 13 pounds to lose by Thanksgiving and I did not make it. I still consider it a success though, because I did lose 10 more pounds. I'm just 3 pounds away from having lost 30% of my body weight since beginning this journey in March 2024. 72 pounds gone. That's your average 10-year-old child. LOL.
I only lost 3 pounds in November and if I am honest with myself, although I have been eating at a calorie deficit, I'm letting far too many of those calories come from processed foods and carbs and I stopped tracking my foods in MyFitnessPal. I need to be more disciplined about what KIND of foods I put in my body to ensure long-term success.
So my next mini goal is to finish the year out by logging my foods in the app every day and watching my macros more closely. I have PCOS and insulin resistance, so limiting sugars and carbs is important for my personal success.11 -
Running my first 5k as someone who always hated running8

my mini goal is to maintain my diet for 1 full month. then i want to shoot for 250 lbs and we will see from there5

My mini goal is to get back into my size 12 pants. I donated all my size 14's because they were way too big, and I was well on my way to the next smaller size. Then I had to have a hysterectomy and had to wear pants with a soft waistband for a while to protect the incision site, as well as having to severely limit my exercise for the duration of my recovery. And then (for a variety of reasons) I started "anxiety eating" and gained back some weight. So now it's time to stop that nonsense and put the stretchy pants back on the "exercise" shelf where they belong! I look forward to wearing jeans and regular pants again, hopefully by the end of the year.6

My mini goal is pretty pathetic. All I want to do right now is end this year weighing less than I did when the year started. I've been up and down so much. I'm not even going to be upset if I don't get back to my ideal maintenance range before the end of the year, but it would be nice. I do want to be back in my ABSOLUTE maintenance range, and I think that's possible.
I won't say wish me luck. It's not about luck. It's about how I follow through on my goal!8 -

Right. It is all about choices. It is both the easiest thing in the world and harder than lifting a mountain. No goal is too small. Set goals you think you can achieve and always find new goals. Fair winds and following sees my friend.2 -
To reach my goal weight by the end of the year. I am just under 3lbs away so it is doable. Its been a long journey (started this one sometime in 2021) with a major plateau (over a year with no loss) but the longest journey, maintenance, is just around the corner. I'm ready for it.2

My mini goal is to get to 7 days streak of logging on MFP.
Fell off for a few months due to mental health flare-ups and am trying to ease back into good choices. I don't eat enough calories unless I'm tracking and need to!7 -
My mini goal is to lose 11 lb more by the end of January and reclaim my original starting weight on MFP. It was Jan. 2020, and healthwise it has been a bumpy few years. However, I am now lighter than I have been since March 2020.
I still have quite a ways to go after that, but it is exciting to see this threshold so close and do-able.

Well it’s not the end of sept or the beginning of October but I’ve hung in there and I am hovering around the 85kgs mark ☺️
Next mini goal is to get to 82kgs and fit comfortably and confidently into all size 12 things I own.

It sounds like you're doing great. And, that picture is beautiful!
My mini-goal is that I'm going to join our local gym. I'm a bit out of shape. But, I'll just take it slow. From past experience, it doesn't take long to build your strength back up.8 -

I’ve clearly either had a whoosh this week or the body has been working on re-distributing as size 12 things are fitting me just fine 😮😮😮😮😮 I also only own like 3 items that go on my bottom half.
I’m off for 17 days over Christmas and NY and I am making a plan to do something active on each and every one of them. I also need to take time while I’m off to go through my wardrobe and pull out anything that fits me like a sack
Still chasing 82kgs. Hoping to get there by the end of Jan7 -
In April I started the Monjuara shot for Type 2 and my BMI. I lost about 45 pounds. In August, I moved and changed jobs, so I lost my insurance. I heard stories of people who gained back everything after stopping the shot. So, I did my best, but I gained back about 10 pounds. Christmas Eve my pharmacy called, and my new insurance approved my shots and I have a $0 copay!!! This has really given me the motivation to push hard. Laying out a solid diet plan to bring my A1C down, I'm focusing on 10 pounds at a time, but I feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel once again!7

Happy New Year everyone! My mini goal is to fit into my skinny jeans again. Over Thanksgiving my sister in-law mentioned a family trip to a beach. I am all in, but not exactly bathing suit ready.
I look forward to sharing our journeys.2 -
Back on MFP for the last week. Just told I have high cholesterol and pre diabetic and low iron. Just started with iron supplements and tracking on here. My biggest problem is portion size and my Starbucks sweetened iced coffee. Always hovered around 175 until my last kiddo. She was born March 2018 and I delivered at 206lbs. Not losing much baby weight; stayed around 190, I have since Gained an additional 15lbs the last couple months putting me at my heaviest ever(209).
Mini goal: track for the next 2 weeks (really the month of January it starting even smaller).
Fit comfortably in my jeans size 14 which should probably be a 16.
I loved the comment of 15min of activity a day and increase each week… I started with about 15min today before reading this and am going to start this habit .

Well didn't reach my goal, hovering between 2 & 3lbs above it but thats OK, no gain over the holidays. I'm good with where my weight is now & if it takes a few weeks or few months to lose the last couple of pounds thats OK too.7 -
To lose the 5 lbs I gained over the holidays and help by knee get stronger with exercises.4
-
Stay sane until I start losing weight consistently3
-
My mini goal is to get back into the gym. After 2 Full Knee Replacements in 2024 I am excited to get back to lifting some weights and pushing myself along.5
