Well if nothing else , my recent history proves to have expected this climb back up out of the 172 #
My life right now...on 1 Random day of the week
My Body- "Here's some hope for you with a nice 172 # on the scale... keep up the good work"
Same body Next day- "Just kidding....you will never get below 174 and stay there... not on my watch anyways, there is nothing you can do that will change this no matter how HARD you try.."

Happy I saw the drop yesterday back to WI 10 days ago. So after 3 days of no sugar or wine, I had some sparkling wine, popcorn, AND snowball cookies last night as a reward……really?
Congrats to so many of you who are seeing significant losses and know for those struggling a bit along with me, this is the place to be this month!
I definitely didn’t have enough water yesterday as I ran errands from 8:30-4:00 and left my water bottle at home. But I finalized a lot of Christmas gifts even though we’re doing it up small this year. Still had to get done!
Have a safe and fun weekend for those of you heading out to holiday parties this weekend!

My focus will be to eat most of my protein goal before the party and then hopefully not indulge too much. It will be a challenging evening I suspect..

The party was fun ,but home late .and then I slept very little.
As far as the food, I didn't feel like I over did it. I had 2 small cookies, and 2 cocktails (which I think had a lot of sugar)
Nonetheless the scale is back up again. I am very low energy today and plan to do next to nothing but relax on the couch and watch movies. Maybe a few household chores
Have a great Sunday everyone

Made reindeer food last night (aka puppy chow or muddy buddies). Forgot how good it is - I will mix with some green and red m-n-m’s. A holiday treat to save in air tight containers and share next week.

Ending the week higher than I’m comfortable with sigh…..but haven’t had much exercise due to a cold this last week. Hydration hasn’t been the best and protein levels down.
Today the sun is shining so will try to get out on a walk and plan some meals!

Well, I've been managing to keep my weight under 163. Christmas will probably bring a gain so I want to try this week before Christmas to lose a pound. I haven't been getting much exercise but I'm controlling my calories so it's working out ok. I've been busy getting things ready for the holidays. I did some Christmas food shopping today. Tomorrow I'll hopefully finish my Christmas gift shopping. I still haven't
decorated my tree yet though. I really don't feel like it. I have been feeling stressed out. Mostly work related. Soon I will have a break though. I hope everyone is doing well and feeling well rested.4 -
Did get out for an hour walk today! Then finished wrapping gifts and put my feet up for a holiday beverage tonight instead of abstaining. This too shall pass! Just two weeks to go to 2025. Back on track tomorrow!3

It's been a full weekend, and a sodium bomb Sunday. As always, December begins to go faster the more I have to do, and this past week has been full tilt.
I hope you all are having a great start to the week.
Edit to add: I haven't been able to workout for several days, but my left shin is feeling better for 24+ hrs now. I'm going to do a slow walk on the treadmill and see how things feel. If still good, I'll stick with simple walks for now and go from there.5 -
I think I was 138 point something this morning, forgot to post here. Ooops. I’m still maintaining. Weight doesn’t fluctuate that much unless I’m menstruating or had a lot of sodium3

I got better sleep last night and woke up feeling much better than Sunday.
I felt terrible Sunday. Not sure what the issue was but pretty much was useless, laid on the couch most of the day . I NEVER do that but I had no energy and just felt a bit nauseated so I didn't eat much and just tried to drink enough fluids with some bland foods.
This week is another crazy week at work. My day started with client meetings at 7 am that ran until 2 almost back to back. Didn't get much actual work accomplished so now I am going to play catch up tomorrow.

In my mind I have a week to really focus on progress. @capewrathultra i love how you’re calling it Operation Siete so I’m going to take some inspiration from that! 🙌🏻 🙌🏻

@canadamarie your right , it seems like we all are just hanging in there.
But that’s a good thing for a challenging December.
@ManifestingToday sometimes those knees and shins need a bit of a rest.
My knees are doing much better since I lost weight… but getting in and out of farm equipment I need to pay attention not to twist as I’m stepping and using the clutch.
I hope yours continues to get better 👍⛄️

Maintaining is good for the holiday season for sure. But seeing a drop feels good. Will continue to focus on staying within my caloric/macro ranges this week, as there are no parties until the weekend.

Hi Everyone! I have been on a weight loss journey since March 2024 and I was doing great until October. I have not been "off the wagon" per se, but in the last two months I have been slacking on using the food diary and watching the carbs (my nemesis). This has resulted in slower weight loss progress, so I am hoping that going back to tracking food / counting macros, along with joining y'all here for accountability, will kick my weight loss back into high gear this month.
I'd like to end the year <170.
Starting - 248
Current - 176
First goal - 163 (out of "obese" category)
2nd goal - 150
Ultimate - 135
So far, so good. I have been tracking my macros and food in MFP every day and the scale is moving. The stalls I've had over the last few months have put me behind my original goal to be 165 by the time I head out of state for Christmas, but I hope I can at least get to 170. As long as the number on the scale moves down, I'll take it!
3.7 pounds down so far this month. I am learning to accept that my weight loss is moving slower now, and I am working on being patient with that because as long as it continues to trend down - that is a good thing! Still shooting to be under 170 by year end.
