How to stop obsessing?

Hello! I'm not new to the calorie tracking, and it's actually one of my biggest fears. I was diagnosed with anorexia about five years ago and still struggle with food noise. I've start picking up lifting (starting May of this year) and my goal is to gain muscle. However, I still freak when I get over 1200 calories. My days look anywhere from 1000-1300. How do I create a healthier mindset around food and stop freaking out over numbers?

First things first. I would stop tracking your caories. It doesn't appear to be heloful to you. I don't know that there are really any easy tricks or tips. It's about doing the work within yourself. You have to decide you've had enough of starving yourself and figure out why you're doing it and work on dealing with that. Many people find getting in an eating routine, where you have set times that you have to eat, no exceptions, helps. But at the end of the day, it's you that has to do it and make the choice to eat, even if it's uncomfortable.1
