@Siren2024 Today's solo trail run view.
It sounds like you're doing great. And, that picture is beautiful!
My mini-goal is that I'm going to join our local gym. I'm a bit out of shape. But, I'll just take it slow. From past experience, it doesn't take long to build your strength back up.
Sorry for the late reply. It took me a whole year to get there. Slow and steady wins the race! I started from zero so you can too!3 -
So I had some good news today. My diabetes A1c numbers is now down to 5.8 from a high of 7.5 previously. Woot!. But now the real battle begins to keep it there so I gotta keep plugging away. Aim to get it to 5.5 and below and stay there! I think I have another 10kgs to loose this year to help with this
Bring it on8 -

Get back on track! figure out how to eat lots of food without many calories5

To get to comfortably under 90kg (198 pounds I think) to go on a ride at the water park with my son. There is not too many summers left where he will be excited to do that with his mum.6

Right now my goal is to loose 10-12 lbs so I can safely start the IVF process to start my family. BMI restrictions are a pain and being so close I know I can make it there!7
-
My mini goal is to lose 6 pounds that will take me to an overweight bmi instead of where I am now which is obese. I'm getting back on track now that the holidays are over. Still I think it will take me about 8 weeks. I will focus on protein and veggies and walking a lot.9

My mini-goal is a weekly one. I want to lose 1.4 kg a week. Thus far I'm winning! I've hit it two weeks in a row.4
-
For me its just being able to feel comfortable in a new jumper. It should already fit but its a little tight.4
-
My tight clothes to be loose and comfy on my body.

Would you consider taking a deeper look into this goal? Three pounds a week is generally considered too fast. Slow and steady wins the race. Even if you have a LOT to lose, even two pounds a week is a very fast rate. This image comes from the "Most Helpful Posts" discussion on the "Getting Started" category. Poke around on that discussion for some other insights.

If it makes you feel more at ease, I am keeping to an about 1300 calorie goal every day (although the app wants me on 1200), exercising and drinking water I'm not starving myself, I seem to tend to lose weight like this. Thank you for the reply2 -

Back under pre Xmas weight now.
My BMI is now 25, my next goal is to lose 3lbs to be at a BMI of 24.5.4 -
I met my last goal of 167 today (166.8), and set a new goal of 165. I am (according to government BMI tables) no long obese and am just overweight :smile Further I set a goal of 2 pounds a week weight loss back in October and I am only .8 pounds over that goal, in spite of several 2-3 week plateaus where I just stayed at the same weight in spite of diet and exercise. I know it will get harder if I continue to lose (and I hope nothing derails me) but so far, I could not ask for more.8

I have the same goal as you! I weighed in this past Thursday at 180. If I can get to 170 by March 20 (first day of Spring, ten weeks away from Thursday) I'll be thrilled! It will be the lowest I've been in a long, long time (at least 6 years).6 -
I've decided to make a mini mini goal of getting into the 150's. I'm 161.3 right now. I haven't been in the 150's for years.7
-
My first mini goal was 10% of my body weight. I did that, and the next goal was to get my BMI below 40.
A few days ago, I hit that goal, so my next mini goal is to reach the loss of 15% of my body weight. 4 pounds to go!
I have planned out a whole series of little goals over the course of this year. The little victories keep me motivated!
My first "medium" goal is to lose 50 pounds by 7 Sept for a big event. That milestone will also put me at 20% of my body weight lost. 33 down. 17 to go!
Quoting my own post to say that I met my next mini-goal of losing 15% of my body weight. Woohoo!
My next mini-goal is to have lost 40 lbs. by the time I leave to visit my family on July 8th.
3.6 pounds to go!
I just squeaked that one in, having lost exactly 40 pounds by July 8th! My next mini-goal was my previous "medium" goal of losing 50Lbs by 7 Sept for a big event. I think I can do it, as I only have 4.5Lbs to go and 6 weeks to do it!
I did it! I have officially lost 50lbs, 20% of my body weight, and also entered ONEderland! 🙌🏼
My next mini-goal will be 25% of my body weight. I’d like to hit that goal by Halloween. 👻 That’s 1lb per week so I’m hoping it’s completely doable.
Mini goals make the journey so much more fun! I like looking at the next little hill instead of the whole mountain and celebrating little victories along the way.
Today I have officially lost 25% of my total body weight! I had set this goal to achieve by Halloween and I did it a month early. Woohoo! 63 pounds gone!
Next mini goal for me is going to be to lose 30% of my body weight by Thanksgiving. That should be a little tougher because my weight loss is slowing down as I have less to lose, so that means I have to lose 13 pounds in two months. I only lost 5 pounds in September, so this time I am making it more challenging for myself. Let's do this!
Well, I got ambitious, and I did not completely succeed. I had 13 pounds to lose by Thanksgiving and I did not make it. I still consider it a success though, because I did lose 10 more pounds. I'm just 3 pounds away from having lost 30% of my body weight since beginning this journey in March 2024. 72 pounds gone. That's your average 10-year-old child. LOL.
I only lost 3 pounds in November and if I am honest with myself, although I have been eating at a calorie deficit, I'm letting far too many of those calories come from processed foods and carbs and I stopped tracking my foods in MyFitnessPal. I need to be more disciplined about what KIND of foods I put in my body to ensure long-term success.
So, my next mini goal is to finish the year out by logging my foods in the app every day and watching my macros more closely. I have PCOS and insulin resistance, so limiting sugars and carbs is important for my personal success.
I haven't checked in for a while. Busy holidays and all that. I'd like to say I hit my mini goal of logging my foods every day and watching my macros, but let's be honest...it was the holidays, and I was out of town visiting family for 10 days. That said, up until 12/19, I was logging my food every day and watching my macros. I did eat Christmas cookies here and there in the 2nd half of the month, though, but overall, my calorie consumption was good.
I went through December's holiday food gauntlet and still lost 6 pounds during the month. I consider that a victory! I've lost over 30% of my body weight - 79 pounds!
My next mini goal is to get under 163 pounds (currently 169) by the one-year anniversary of the start of my journey - Feb 26th. That is the tipping point that takes my BMI out of the "Obese" category. I'm not sure I can pull that off because that is 7lbs in 6wks and my weight loss has really started to slow down now, but I am going to try! There are definitely things in my lifestyle that I can improve upon to help achieve this goal.10 -
My mini goal is to get to 102.5kg and before that to get a special hula hoop to exercise when it rains. Also need to get out my skipping rope! I have just made a list of weightloss rewards to get as I go down in weight. My goals were too big before, now I'm rewarding myself every 2.5kg so I don't have to wait as long to treat myself and to drive up motivation. The first thing I would like to get are these sparkly hot pink crocs I saw while window shopping. My family thinks I have enough shoes, but what do they know? I'll definately get my moneys worth, I wear my blue ones almost everyday. Maybe not the best thing to exercise in, but I do walk in them a lot.7
-
Another mini goal is to print off a whole lot of motivational and inspirational pictures and quotes and make a folder that I look at each day to start a fire in my belly. I don't know if you can feel inspired every day but I'm definately going to try!
This might seem like a silly goal but actually sitting down and doing it has been proving challenging. I'm also having trouble finding quotes and stuff that relate to what I'm looking for. Funny how you find stuff when you're not looking...5 -
Not really a weight loss mini goal, but I’m really putting in the effort to get stronger. I’ve been pretty weak and small my whole life, and I’d love to be able to do at least 20 push-ups. Right now, I can do around 105
