Round 284
January 11 - 20, 2025

Please join us starting on 1/11 for JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, when we will begin Round 284.

Thank you, Carolyn (@Chapter_3)! Let’s all STAY ENGAGED!

Anyone can join us at anytime during the round.

Join us! If we stay mindful we can do this, you can do this.

Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!

Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. You have only one hour to edit your post. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share. Make the board your own - track what is important for YOUR JOURNEY.

FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

If you feel your post is too lengthy, you can add spoilers to temporarily hide the information. It is readily available by tapping the SPOILER bar. To create a Spoiler just type or copy [ Spoiler ] xxx [ /Spoiler ] Omit the spaces within the brackets and put your information where I have xxx

Hi, I'm Amanda! 5'2" 39F in Virginia, excited to return this round after taking a couple off! I forgot yesterday that we usually use the day before the challenge as our start weight so I’m double posting before the challenge starts. Can you tell I’m excited to be back? 🤣

We ALL have good rounds and bad but that is part of life. Don’t stay away, stay accountable. We don’t judge, we support.-Jpv,2/13/19

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.

This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

We are unstoppable not because we do not have failures but because we continue on despite them. - paraphrase of original quote by Beau Taplin

Up and down - just riding the waves of life. 🌊 🏄‍♀️ (My new mantra-3/19/22)

"Do or do not. There is no try." -Yoda

I need to STAY ENGAGED because I’m the DRIVER not the passenger in this life.

Yesterday was a bad day for food. I was exhausted and not feeling great and just HUNGRY. I pretty much said forget it and ate whatever I felt like yesterday. I am not even sure I ate a single fruit or veg yesterday. Thought this morning was going to be a nightmare getting on the scale, but I did it anyway. To my utter surprise it is reading the same as yesterday. Now, this may come back and bite me a day or two from now, so I know I am not totally out of the woods, but I am going to learn a lesson from it and move on. I do think I need to have one day scheduled as a higher calorie day, and a bit of a splurge where I eat some “naughty” things, just to keep myself satisfied and not binge at other times. I am really trying this time to set myself up with something that I can follow for the rest of my life, so need to add in some eating that isn’t always super healthy like the rest of my meals.

Seems we are reporting similar things but for different reasons 😁.
