    Good Morning, ladies,
I decided to read all of the posts from February. I missed a lot; the mac and cheese made my mouth water.

Pip, I read that you signed up for another MS fundraiser. How can I support you with your fundraising?

Machka, Your co-workers are correct. You do have a nice smile. Where did you get such a lovely coloring book? I love the lyrics of the Myley Cirus song. The sentiments are so true.

Terri, I love your goals, and you are correct about the importance of learning all you can.

Michelle, do you do your DVDs in Florida?

Kylia, You look beautiful with your daughters; I am glad you had fun.

Tracey, I hate it when relatives think they know what is in one's bank account. I am curious: Why do you believe Rodger doesn't want to work? Is he old enough to retire? Is there any way your nephew can add you to the hospital list? That way, Rodger can call the nurses for an update.

I decided to increase the height of my aerobics steps. My blood sugar dropped, and I had to stop halfway through the workout. I ate a power bar and drank Powerade (a complex carb). Then, I returned to my workout with a lower step. Well, that is something to work toward. I need to work on it a little more. Also, I need to eat more than 573 calories. I will try again in a couple of weeks. I am ready to sleep now.
    Have a great morning, everyone.

    XO,
    Mo in Mississippi

Thanks for asking. You can mail me a check, make it to national ms society, not me. Or I can send you a link to donate online with a debit or credit card. I’ll send you a message with the info.

Lisa, I’m so sorry you are going through such a hassle with your knee pain. I feel for you. Knee pain is no joke.

Heather and other Clutterbug fans and those who watch High Potential: did you see this week’s episode? Morgan referenced the 4 organizing styles at a suspect’s house. The suspect was a butterfly. She said she was a ladybug and Adam is a cricket.

I got all of my autopay accounts changed over to the new account as well as my Teacher Retirement check. That one required a call to TRS because my password didn’t work then they told me the answers to my security questions didn’t match. Like I told the lady at TRS, I don’t know why. Unless I spelled my 3rd grade teacher’s name wrong, I am clueless. She deleted the whole account for me and I started over by re-registering. Social Security is going to be a problem. The earliest they would let me choose was our April deposits. That means Feb and March will go into the old account, which is where my Feb TRS payment is also stuck. So back to the bank tomorrow. I am so grateful that this is just a bump in the road and will eventually work itself out. So many are dealing with serious health problems or worse.

Today my daughter was in a 7-car accident on the way home from work. Luckily, nobody was seriously injured. It was really 3 separate accidents, all at the same time. She was in the middle set. The first set of cars wrecked in front of her, she was able to get stopped and avoided hitting the car in front of her, but the car behind her hit her. Then there was another collision directly behind them. Her car is not that bad. It’ll need a little body work on the rear. It did break the hair clip she was wearing, but otherwise she’s fine.

I saw it. So cute when her partner referred to the old guy as a butterfly when he was talking about the case with everyone. She is having an affect on him! He remembers all her eccentricities.💖👍🏼
    Lets see what am I?

I am a bee. I like to see everyday items, and I like organized systems. I put stuff away. I do pile stuff on my desk periodically and then deal with it every week or so.

Rebecca ~ I think I am a BEE also!

Beth ~ Have a safe trip to the dentist! I have a dental appt. coming up soon and I am dreading it.

Lisa ~ Your new handbag is very pretty and shows a lot of work.

Lanette ~ Sorry about your BnL's knee problems. When I had my first knee replacement it went great. But the second one I had in July was totally different. I developed lymphedema in the calf of that leg and it finally seems to be gone after all the house walking I have been doing.

    Mo - love the pictures.
I think the problem is the scammers and hackers can’t make the kind of money in a legitimate job that they make with their schemes.
I looked up how far it is to my MIL’s it is 3334 kms = 2071 miles. To fly would cost us over $1000. Plus car rental and they all think because we live in AB we’re rich so expect us to buy everything when we’re there. This is so far from the truth, we don’t go often.
Michaela is a bit shy, she is very much like our youngest, her Aunt.
We have free Healthcare here in Canada. It’s a mess right now because of Doctor shortages, but I think that’s a global issue.

Ginny - I hope you have a nice lunch and your brother’s appointment goes well.

Lisa - I find once I organize a space I have trouble finding something because the day that I organized made sense where I put it, but the day I need it I think I lost my marbles the previous day.
I hope that the VA and that doctor get with the program. It’s awful being in pain. Sorry you’re having to fight yet again to have your needs met.

Beth - those wouldn’t be my people either. I would want the snacks and feel guilty if they weren’t sharing them.
Our rec staff have manicure days for the residents. They paint nails for a long time that day.

Allie - maybe you could have Alfie more than when they go on vacation. I think your heart is in the right place, but you’ll miss him. Has his barking during tv shows settled? If not, maybe you like the breaks.

Kylia - your SIL sure likes to try to mess up your mood.
    Mine does the same.

Rebecca - I have friends with sons who are jealous of me because I had daughters. It’s because the son’s wives rule the roost and it’s affected their relationship with the grands and sons. I hear your frustration with your DIL from time to time. Hugs to you.

I loved my in-laws immediately and made sure we were fair in visits to both families. Even if I go home alone, I go and stay there for a few days.
When my FIL passed I walked in the house and my MIL stood up out of her chair and said, “there’s my girl”. I am furious at my SIL though.

Debbie - I’m glad you’re getting up to see your Mom, will the water recede by then?

Ginny - I’m sorry your brother and SIL are going through this. Do they have anyone that could spend some time so she can get a solid sleep? It’s a tough disease to deal with.

Has anyone heard from Annie recently?

Kay - I just watched this weeks episode of High Potential and caught that. I thought it was awesome!
    Glad your daughter wasn’t injured.

I’m now watching Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage. I love the Georgie character and just want him to succeed.

Rodger’s mom is still in the hospital, his nephew texted us today. Maybe tomorrow. I want to know why they keep keeping her, but we’re not getting that answer.

    Tracey in Edmonton

Yep. "a son is your son till he marries a wife, but your daughter is your daughter for the rest of your life". It really is a thing!🙄
I think what bothers us most sometimes which is petty really, is that we raised him to be a neater person. We always taught him to keep his room clean, clothes go here, toys picked up nightly etc. And he just doesn't do any of that mindset with his kids. His wife is messy, and so is he, why should the kids clean up? Now nothing is unsanitary, mind you. And nightly the rhoomba goes around and vacuums. They clean up their kitchen nightly, so I will give them points for that. But the amount of stuff in general is overwhelming to me. Now I know most of where this feeling is coming from is the fact that I have embraced minimalism and that mindset. So though I try to not impart my judgements of people using that particular system of organizing, I do sense a general frustration with my son. A feeling of overall tiredness. Like he has just thrown in the towel. I don't know, but I think that getting rid of half of his stuff would give him more time for more joy in his life. He spends a lot of time trying to get ahead with piles of stuff.

Didn’t make it to line dancing Tuesday night. Started swallowing the income tax frog yesterday morning. Use TurboTax as it keeps history and assures me I’ve not missed any deductions, but alas, it seems to be getting kludgier to negotiate. Have to answer the same irrelevant questions to manually enter 1099-Rs from my institutions, none of which are importable. Foo. Almost a relief to stop, feed the dogs and prep for BB&B. ;) Gulped down another frogbite this morning, finished entering income, and first two (easy) deductions. Couldn’t import tax forms from my (US) bank as not available until Feb 22, sheesh. Also had to calculate my own RMD as not shown on Thrivent’s website and rep hasn’t answered email . . . yet.
On a less grumpy note, my organizing goodies (new aqua hanging folders, plenty of clear tabs) arrived from Amazon so will progress on worktable excavations with a modicum of joy ;)

. . . Tomorrow is Bryan’s birthday, but with the time change they might celebrate it today. I sent him an email just wishing him a happy birthday. I realized I haven’t seen him in over 10 years. Maybe some day he’ll know how much I do love him …
Barbara – who is the musician? Is that a type of synthesizer? …
    Michele NC
Sorry Michele, but don’t know which musician/instrument you’re asking about. Could it be Lanette’s “Strut Sauce”? ((hugs)) held extra long about Bryan.
Kay septic, internet AND bank account troubles? :noway: Glad you caught ;em in the testing phase. Yes I did have to smile when Morgan announced that the suspect was a butterfly ;) But are there no bees at LAPD? Wow about the 7 car pileup. Were the roads icy? Thankful nothing worse than your daughter’s hairclip, are you sure no head injury?
Tracey so sad and frustrating about Rodger’s east coast relatives not keeping you in the loop about his mom ((hugs)).
Mo thanks for the pics of you and Baby Suko. You are both so very beautiful and the love you have for each other just shines out. With Joe, I have to keep it down to 3 main points, then walk away while he processes and eventually responds ;)
Machka “The point is that fortunately, the world is made up of a lot of different people ... and patience and kindness go a long way “ truth this. The No Coffee Challenge cracked me up!!!
Ginny that jacket sounds lovely! ((hugs)) held extra long about your brother.
Beth your are a pistol too, your apple fell not far… Sorry to hear about the crown.
Lisa yours to Kim, amen. “dyslexia into the third dimension” (gentle hugs held extra long) for the orthopedic struggles and shame on those doctors!
Lanette “egg/tomato and chicken/garden” I resemble that remark!
Heather look forward to seeing the ceramic mug and skulls after painting.
Kylia well done on the steps, love the pic.
Allie ((hugs)) know you want what’s best for Alfie but wouldn’t you miss him terribly?
Terri cauliflower and broccoli in mac’n’cheese? :noway:
    Rita “. . .Bob Marley . . .” LOL!
Rebecca and Carol, ah sister bees! With a dash of butterfly and cricket ;)
Time to break fast and get ready to take Mooch to groomer.
    Later, lighter, lovelies!

@Nebulizers those of you who use these, do they make you tired, shaky, or peppy? Do they reduce appetite? Just some things I’m seeing right now and am wondering if it is normal or something else.
@Doctors, I found a new doctor yesterday and they already called me this morning to set up an appointment. Will need to talk to DH to see when he would want to go.

    Love you all!

Yes, the albuterol in the nebulizer does give me the shakes/jitters a bit. They don't last too long. I haven't noticed reduced appetite though I will keep an eye on it when I do have to use it again. Hopefully not for a long while- The last episode was over 6 weeks of treatments up to 4 times a day.
