Hey everybody! Not much loss this week for me. I’ve been eating a lot lately and not working out. I think I’ll try not eating after 7pm even if I’m hungry! Having a healthy breakfast will help as most days I skip it. There’s only 6 weeks to go til the end of this challenge!! We’re at the half way mark already! We can do it! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️😃

02/01-191.8-(Trend Weight: 192.3)- My scale weight is up a bit after a very late night (2 AM) meal but my trend weight continues to go down. I’m glad it has faith in me as it is aligning with my faith in myself. A small overnight blip that should flush away rather quickly after the high-sodium soup. I have zero intention of chasing my own tail this month! Let’s go!
02/05-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I woke up late and hit the floor running with the contractors at my door trying to get in and work. No thought to weigh, only to get dressed and get the coffee going. I know I am way up from the weight on the 1st due to my daily challenges. If I could just be back at start weight by next week I would be shocked but happy. Happy hump day!

66 year old female. 5'2". I lost 50 pounds in 2016 and managed it until 2021. The pounds have slowly come back and it's time to get back to a lower healthier weight.

One last weigh in before our cruise today. I've been very mindful of eating and alcohol consumption this week with getting some running in.
Things I need to keep in mind while cruising next week:
Don't lose the momentum of the downward trend.
Hit the treadmill daily. (I have a race in 3 weeks).
I don't have to eat everything on the ship.
We have lots of active days planned, swimming, snorkeling, hiking.

Hi everyone,
Happy Weekend! I'm BACK! I've been totally slacking off lately (too many excuses and yet no excuses!) but I'm really looking forward to the final five weeks until the end of this challenge - the LAST day of Winter!
Good thing too - Boston is expecting a snowstorm tonight into tomorrow with about 4-8 inches expected. Sometimes they hype it up and we get practically nothing and sometimes we get way over the predicted accumulation. We shall see...
Guess what? My new cat has finally come out of hiding (after two weeks) and we are really bonding now! She even likes to sleep on my lap! (Today I'm going to build her a 3-foot cat tree!)
I will wait until this Wednesday to weigh in. I will post my scale app stats as I did on day one and will update with side-by-side comparison on March 20th (the first day of S*P*R*I*N*G!)🌷
Enjoy your weekend. I will check back soon!
💞 Carole4 -
@tammierlewis Enjoy that cruise! I hope there will be a few pics when you get back!2
-
Hi, @tammierlewis! We're the same age, close to the same height (I'm 5'3") and close to the same weight! (My scale said 156.4 this morning.)
Have a fabulous cruise! It's great that you have lots of activities planned! Bet you'll even lose weight before your return!
Best wishes,
💗 Carole2 -
Good morning everyone,
Boston ended up with only about four inches of snow and now it's over! Yay!
This morning the scale said just over 154 lbs.; so my weight is finally on its way back down! I think there still might be a chance that I can achieve a weight of under 150 lbs. by Spring!🌷
Have a great day,
💗 Carole5 -
My new cat is using her brand new "cat tree!

02/12-194.8-(Trend Weight: 193.7)- It’s been a horrible February so far. The sugar cravings are winning. Meals have been pretty good, for the most part. It’s those night time snacks and munchies that are getting me! My birthday is May 10th and I decided that my first mini-goal is to lose a full 10 pounds between now and then. That would put me firmly in the 180’s and on much better footing health-wise. I would still be 30 to 40 pounds away from my ultimate goal, but those numbers sound so much more do-able. Am I reaching for the stars? I dunno, but stretching is good for you, right?

Hi All!
I am up a little bit this week, but I think due to several factors. First, I think it could be hormonal changes this week. Second, what a whirlwind of a week. Due to two family emergencies, it was chaos. We had guests stay at our home from out of town due to one family emergency, and for the other I was leaving the house 3 times per day to attend to family matters. Needless to say, eating was more about just making sure I ate what was cooked/available, rather than focusing on the calories. I tried to be as mindful as possible, but mostly I ate whatever my husband made for our out-of-town guests. And when I was out and about, I tried to make mindful choices of what I ate out.
Its the first time I've "fallen back" since December, so its been a little discouraging, but trying to pick it back up slowly but surely. I'm back to tracking my calories, and now its just working towards starting to integrate exercise again.
Its a marathon, not a race. The time will keep going, no matter what I choose. So might as well make the healthier choices! Heres to hoping for better results next week!4 -
