Lanette, sounds like lovely weather there with a view! I love that you have that option for them to help out at the gas station place in that capacity. I don’t know if we have anything like that near us.
Weeding is never fun; however, I love how my garden looks after I do!
    You’re welcome for the charts!

    @exermom
Michele, enjoy your fun in the sun!
You continue to inspire with your activity levels! Great job planning out your exercises for the week and dinners!

    Good morning, all!

What a week last week was....

While the loss of our Libby was still fresh to us, I ended up with Covid on Monday - which is why I haven't posted since then. I have been down and out until basically yesterday. I didn't want to move. I don't know if it was all Covid, but I was so wrung out, so tired. I didn't have a bad cough, but my sinuses were so plugged and swollen. With all my health concerns, they immediately put me on Paxlovid. And while, I "think" it helped, it left me with THE WORST taste in my mouth ever!! BLAH!! NOTHING tasted good - at all. Everything tasted bitter.

Did a short walk this morning, and will do another at lunch time. Back to tracking everything again also.

Hubby and I have decided at the end of the month, we are going to take a short weekend trip up to West Virginia and stay in some cabins that I found just for a chill weekend. I love a fire and they have fire places in the cabins. We are still close to where we usually go ride the side by sides, and can go visit a few friends if we want to while there.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

    Lisa: Lovely picture!

Grandmallie: Your grandchildren warm my heart!

Barbie: I am seldom in a store. I did walk around ACE Hardware early yesterday and enjoyed this! I buy eye brow gel from Sephora and am just overwhelmed in there!

Rebecca: My sympathy on the loss of your Aunt. I like the hair cut!

Debbie: What a blessing that your Mom in law always knew her son and husband! How is your other mother in law?

McMillionmail: Glad you were able to get out and mingle with friends!

Michele: I do admire your dedication to exercise. I am doing a cycling class and zumba. I am telling myself I am going for the music and if I get exercise in that is an added bonus!

Pipcd: Enjoy your trailer this Spring. I am a little jealous. I do go to the State Parks but am afraid to venture too deeply into the woods at them. I stay on the paved roads. But at least that is something!

Heather: John seems to be doing pretty well over all! Congrats on finishing another book!

Ginny: Maybe your NP moved on because she didn't care for how the practice was managed either!

RVRita: Will you stay in NM? I believe you lived quite a bit on the East Coast. Do you miss the East Coast? Did I tell you I was once with a friend at a conference in Roswell. We were headed back to Gallup and there was snow on the highway. I was trying to keep up with the traffic in a Chevy Cavalier. Cars were spinning out! Well, next thing I know we are hydroplaning off into the desert! We were okay. We were towed out and kept going. The next month I was with people at Telluride in CO. It snowed and even with chains I absolutely refused to drive on the mountain road until later in the afternoon. Others drove in the snow. But I knew hydroplaning off the mountain was not the same as hydroplaning near Roswell NM!

Evelyn: I got Vision Insurance. I need to double check that this is worth it. I think it might be though! I have also purchased frames from Cool Frames on line. And the Vision Center nearby is okay with this. I recently purchased my frames on Cool Frames for 80.00. In fact I got an extra frame to put away. ...because I like the frame. I had been 8 years at a previous eye care center. They charged 250.00 for the same frame.

Vickie: I like the prom dress! Did your grand daughter purchase this dress?

    Tracey: Congrats on graduation!

Well, I am 2 years a widow and my son lives in town, but he really does not want to hear about my day to day life of running the house. If I text about the house, he really doesn't respond back. And he is not interested in my day to day budget decisions. Maybe this has a good side...it forces me to be independent....which I can be...but I experience it as lonely.

I tend to overshare with him by text. I am working on this. I am having a little trouble with "money values". I purchased the dog..which heart guard/and Nexguard cost 38.00 a month, and I agreed to the beach vacation with my friend...which i didn't appreciate would add up. And there is a wedding in Boston in June 2026.

And my front lawn needs attention...we have never put any money into it ...but there are large brown patches now. And I still need to purchase carpet mats for the stairs so I don't slip. This job hasn't even been done yet! I rejoined the Gym.. which I am doing cycling and Zumba...but do I really need a gym. My azaleas did not not bloom last year. So I purchased some liquid fertilizer and fertilized them. I spent 80 unexpected dollars at ACE.

I went to J Jills..we won't discuss this. Do I want to go to the coast or have a garden? I realize I am blessed to have the health to be pondering these decisions.

But I need to not go in so
many directions. Because directions cost funds. I did get some inexpensive poster board to make a Vision Board. AI gave me 6 categories to consider for my age! Maybe 1 category would be better!

    Best,
    Rosemarie from GA

@Rosemarie2972 at the end of February, they posted that there would be a new feed to post on for March. You might want to go look for that in community. Hugs and prayers sent your way!
