I am a new member.

hello everyone. I started with the app 5 days ago. I have been fasting for 3 months now. I haven’t lost a lot of weight which I am disappointed at. I eat two meals a day and I needed support in doing this. Weight is one of my goals and reducing insulin resistance is all so a major aim. I have started going to the gym and I am doing both Cardio and weight training.
Hopefully there maybe members that can give me support especially in Intermittent fasting.

It usually takes a few weeks in before you will see any changes on the scale in my experience. Don't give up!

Sorry I just realized you started 3 months ago. Maybe building muscle with exercise?

How many calories are you consuming a day? Height/weight? Fasting is fine if that's what you're into, but being in an overall calorie deficit is what you need for weight loss.

Hello. You haven't included much information to be able to discuss with you what you might do differently. I'm assuming you are male, but your age, weight and activity level without exercise is important. Also are you weighting your food? Fasting actually does nothing for weight loss by itself. It is a tool that may or may not be right for you to aid you in keeping a calorie deficit. Also what is your exercise regiment? Have you had a physical with your doctor? People here are very helpful. Just give us a little more info.

Hi Geoffrey, and welcome. An unfortunate reality of this community is that it is 99.9% helpful people on their own journeys, and 0.1% soulless hacks here to drum up business for their supplement businesses. A good reminder is that anyone who is here trying to get you to join their team, or sell you something, is a scammer and should be ignored and avoided.

But sometimes then their marketing-type posts disappear - temporarily or permanently - and it's hard for the OP to tell what happened. 😉😉😉
Always good to warn, though - flag on the play provides information about game rules even to someone who didn't see the play. 😁

Not sure what your eating but consuming mostly whole foods with a focus on quality protein, which is animal or should be animal based and reducing as much as you can any processed foods while also reducing "some" starchy carbs generally help with satiety a lot, which helps quite a bit while working with intermittent fasting making a shorter window for food consumption easier to achieve and maintain which empowers the benefits of IF to be maximized, which will certainly help with people that have metabolic dysfunctions like diabetes and insulin resistance, and it's especially good for lowering A1C, triglycerides and improving HDL and maximizing autophagy. Good luck.
