Recap 3/28 F ~ Dreary day, showers possible. Poor doggo, we had strong winds and thunderstorms at bedtime & she was quite scared. Too bad her thunder shirt doesn't help. Fortunately, the worst thunder & lightning ended in an hour, so hubby and I stayed with her.

When I last spoke to my doctor, even though I told her everything was going good, she upped my meds for anxiety. One of the side effects is drowsiness. I have been so tired all week and unmotivated. I am starting to think it's the higher dosage. She did tell me I could go back down, and I think I am going to.

Got back from Vacation on the 28th and been playing catch up on all fronts. So many messages out here so until I get the time to sit and read through (which may be never) I thought I would just check in.
I had a wonderful week with perfect weather. I did alot of relaxing and mixed in a couple days of hiking and kayaking to see some of the hidden desert sights. Since I have been home , the last three days I have been go , go , go.. Springtime farm chores are never ending.
As a side note, I completely forgot to take along my GLP meds while on vacation so I was 7 days without and did ok. For the last two months I didn't think I was really getting much in the way of 'feelz" from the meds anyways so I had been thinking about taking a break and doing a reset to help reestablish sensitivity to the medication.
Stopping cold turkey like that isn't recommended but it just worked out that way.
It takes about 25-30 days (all depending on metabolism, kidney function and dosage) after your last dose for the medication to be completely out of your system. Hunger has hit pretty hard the last 24 hrs and its been 10 days! So maybe they were working more than I realized… lol
Hoping I can manage…

- 64+ oz water
- Log every bite. Aim for 30 different plants this week. Close Food Diary at the end of the day.
- Pack up laptop with warranty paperwork. Drop at Fed Ex.
- 60 minutes activity. Can break into small exercise snacks…10 or 15 minutes at a time.
- Declutter 5 things upstairs. Declutter 5 things downstairs. Digital declutter 15 minutes. Set timer. No overwhelm.
- Bible app plan. JFT. Patreon. JM, SA, DO readings. Gratitude journal. Daily Dialog.
- Show our home some love. Laundry and floors today.
- Mom’s for Fabric Cafe video. Spend 30 minutes in sewing room.
- Get up and move during commercials tonight. Sit less!
- Bedtime routine. Begin by 8:30 and do a little something during commercials. Early to bed tonight.

Posting goals (in post above) for tomorrow now since I just got caught up reading posts back to March 13th. I just can’t get used to the new format, or lack of formatting tools that we used to have. I hope MFP stops making changes that are not for the better, in my opinion. I really miss the Quote option.
We have been sick with the upper respiratory virus that’s been going around and I am finally starting to feel better. I had a birthday while we were sick. I was so bummed. After everything we’ve been through medically over this past year, I really wanted to celebrate. I think we still will…just waiting until hubby and I both feel better and then we will invite the kids and grands for dinner and cake.
I can’t believe it’s already April tomorrow! Hope we are done with snow and start seeing April showers ☔️ for May flowers. 🌷💐🪻@mytime6630 I hope you’re feeling better! My husband and I have had that upper respiratory stuff for a month now! Just lousy stuff that doesn’t want to let go…

@Bex953172 I’m sorry Ash and you were hurt by your dad’s words. I think people don’t know what to say and blurt out the first thing that crosses their mind, not realizing they’re actually hurting you. Very encouraging that Ash’s mum was looking and feeling better too! Also, I’m sorry about the ADHD results didn’t match what you obviously see. Are you able to appeal the decision? Have teachers write up a report of their observations? A year is a long wait to reevaluate it. I don’t blame you for being frustrated…it’s hard to see our kids struggle. 💞
