    I had to lower my goal again. I still struggle with motivation. I will get over it!

    I can't believe how nice the weather has been this spring. I ran intervals this morning. I have the workout on my watch as 6 miles with 4x100 at 5K pace and 5x400 at 5K pace, but I miscalculated the route and ended up with 7.25 miles. When I was running before work, I didn't vary my routes much since it was dark and I was pressed for time. But the last couple of weeks I have been varying my routes some, so it is harder to know what the distance will be when I do the interval run. I don't mind though. It will be too hot before we know it, and hopefully I will be back to work soon anyway.

    Good luck with your procedure @chris_in_cal. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

    Posting two days today. Yesterday I did a morning run on the driveway and down to my mom's. I wasn't feeling the best, so decided to take it easy. I did push the last 0.25 mile of running. The avg pace was 12:53 min/mile. Avg HR was 128 with a max of 157 bpm. Splits were 13:24, 13:02, 13:35 (0.10 mile) and 9:34 (0.25 miles). I walked home from mom's to complete the 3.5 miles. I thought I had run 2.5 miles, but after I quit, realized that I had walked 0.35 miles for warm up instead of 0.25 miles. There's that running math again. 🤣

    I went to the indoor courts later and hit some tennis balls with a friend who is coming back from knee replacement surgery. So, we didn't play any matches, but did have some good rallies and practice.

    Today, the electrician was here from 7 am until 5:15 pm. It was raining and there was no electricity for most of that time, so I did a short treadmill walk after he left.

    Good news is that I feel safe about my electrical system now - new main circuit breaker panel and almost all new switches. All I lack are the three-way switches. He still has some work he is going to do for me, but that was the things I was really worried about as far as being dangerous is concerned.
