Way to go @patriciafoley1. 19 pounds is a lot. You must feel great. Enjoy those extra carbs. Choose them wisely. I'm thinking pasta and bread, not pastries. And that green part of the BMI chart is a great feeling too. Some people poo poo that chart but it feels great to be there. Keep going. You're going to feel great this summer! Amazing. You are an inspiration.

Count me in fellow challengers. Reading all your stories is inspiring and lets me know that I’m not the only one struggling at times. I lost 4.5 lbs in the last challenge. Starting weight 212.0, CW 207.5. I am working to get below 200 by the end of this challenge. Good luck everyone! ❤️

Hi @RubyRed427! Thanks for starting this challenge! I would love to hop on board - for reinforcement and to extend beyond my other challenge that ends on the first day of summer. (I hope to lose at least ten pounds by this August.)
NOTE: If you hit the "Save Draft" button as you type every few lines, it should keep your entry up to that point. Once you save the draft, the button turns blue with white letters. Keep hitting "Save Draft" every so often in case you get bumped off (kicked out) for whatever reason. (It should still be there when you go back to the posts.)
Since July 31st is on a Thursday, I will use Thursdays as the weigh-in day for this challenge.

My weight was up over the weekend (Sunday), but hopefully I can correct it by this Thursday. I will post a snapshot of my scale app's weight record each Thursday throughout the challenge, in order to stay honest and accountable.

May 1-July 31 Goals:
NO alcohol/Lose at least 10 lbs./Walk to/from work most weekdays/Track calories consistently and stay under 1,550 calories per day/lose at least 2 inches each from waist and potbelly ("Menopot").
I will make sure to check in at least every Thursday to report weight and see how everyone else is doing.
