Monday Mini Challenge

Today's challenge is: Tricep Dips

Let's do 250 of them.

The farther out you move your feet the harder these are to do. So.....Today let's move your feet out as far as you can.

You can do them any style you want and you have until midnight to get them done.
If you can't do 250 then do what you can.
The important thing is that you try to do it.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.

    OK I am going to try this! No promises on the 250. My 14 yr old dauhter just did 50 over a 20 min. time period.

    That is one way you could do them but if you follow the link I provided it's much easier and the closer you draw your feet in the easier it is. You CAN do at least one of these!

    Ok -- Verified that I CAN, in fact, do them. We'll see whether I can come CLOSE to 250, though!

    LOL, no we are not talking about this type, it's the type where you do it on a workout bench! Sit on the bench, put your fit out as far as you can, hold on to the bench, slide your booty of the end of it, and let it drop until your arms are parrallel to the floor and push up. that's it! :)

    ohhhh. lame. I just did it in my schools library haha that was akward. i'll probably pass tho haha I'm scared ill get sore if i wip out 250 of something i've never done before.

    I think I'd need to find a different way to work the triceps. This one is a killer on my neck and shoulders. Maybe my form is just completely wrong. Not sure.

    Also for those that think that they cannot do them, there is a modified version. I did the modified for the first 3 months I think... :blushing:

    Instead of using a bench or chair...use a table or counter. You are still getting the same workout and building up the triceps for the usual dips! You can do it! I promise!!!!!!

    I am in! I only managed 125 last time...this time I WILL make 250!

    btw....my calves are still a little sore from the power knees on Friday! It's all good though! :glasses:

    What is "lame"? If your refering to the challenge you don't have to do them you know. On the challenges I post there is NO reason that anyone can't do at least some of the reps in the exercise. All of my challenges have simple variations and that is why my exercises are so limited. I try to only do exercises that everyone can do in one form or another. The ones you did in the library was probably just fine if that is all you can do. With my challenges, if you can't do them all you do what you can do. The point of my challenges are to help motivate you and keep you accountable to yourself. If you cheat on your exercise or don't challenge yourself the only person you are "hurting" is you. Remember that the next time you "can't" do something.
