100 day Challenge #23 May15.25 β August 22.25
Hey everyone! We are back at it again with round 23! Congratulations to those of you who stuck it out till the end in round 22! It is a long, but amazing journey and our daily habits can help us achieve our long-term goals. This challenge is 100 days of weighing in daily. This is where we track our fluctuations on a day-to-day basis to see which foods, activities, & movement make the scale move in the right direction.
We all have our different reasons to shed some pounds: Improved health, better fitting clothes, upcoming events, self-esteem, mobility, swimsuit season etc.
Day 1 will be on Thursday May 15.25 & Day 100 will be on Friday August 22.25
Feel free to start whenever you want. Jump in and join even if you didnβt start on Day 1.
The rules are simple:
1. Set yourself a goal of what you want to weigh on Day 100 and work towards getting there for the next 100 days.
2. Weigh yourself daily, unless you canβt (youβre away from home or not near a scale).
3. Donβt get discouraged by fluctuations. Use this as a time to understand your body.
4. Log your weight on here every single day. Feel free to share how you feel about your weigh in as well.
5. Including your age and height lets us get to know you, but not mandatory.
6. Encourage others, including yourself.

I'm 5'3, in my mid 30s, and a SAHM to my three year old twins.
My goal for this round is to lose 10 pounds.
A little about what brought me here under the spoiler
About a year ago, I was about 5 pounds away from my ultimate goal weight (around 125) and looking and feeling quite good. And then it happened. My boys received a devastating diagnosis of a rare genetic disorder. My world fell apart. I ate and drank a lot to cope. 3 months and 30 pounds later, I was able to pull myself together enough to start taking care of myself again and restart the weight loss. It is coming off MUCH slower than it went on, but I am doing it, pound by pound.

Round 23 Ending Weight: 142.3Day 01β05/15β 141.4. Movement was minimal. Husband worked late last night so I wasn't able to get to the gym, and my sons had some appointments and stuff that kept us busy through the day. Food was great, though. It helped to be out of the house and away from food for most of the day. I'm hoping to get more activity AND do good with food today. It seems like it's been just one or the other a lot lately.

There's still a chance (a diminishing chance) that I could reach my goal weight of 220 lbs by the end of the year. To do so, given my current weight, I would need to lose ~1.2 lbs/week.
Before considering that, I had set a goal for this round of 0.1 lbs/day (0.7 lbs/week). I think I'll leave it there (because I'm in need of reaching a goal for a change), but I'll be keeping an eye on whether my ultimate goal is still within reach by year's end.

I am Dawn. I live in SE British Columbia Canada. I am 5'2" (or 5'3"?) and 64 years of age. I have done a bunch of these 100s now, I have lost count lol. I was sitting at 130 for quite awhile, trying desperately to get into the 120s, but gained little by little over the last couple of years. My "ideal" weight should be between 110-118 for my height, BMI, and stuff. At this point I just really want to get back into the 130s.

My goal from the very beginning has been to lose one pound per week for a total of 12 pounds per challenge. I have never considered that to be too much and I never thought in a million years I would find it this difficult, even at my age and with my health problems. But itβs proved to be nothing but an uphill climb and in most cases, impossible. I am going to lower my goal to 10 pounds per challenge and see if that will feel more right, more do-able. I, again, thank you for sharing my journey with me and allowing me to travel with you on yours. It is reassuring, refreshing, enlightening and inspiring and I am forever grateful.

Hi, This is my first round, and Iβm starting here on Day 2. Life has gotten βinterestingβ in the past 2 years and I started putting on weight again. My high was 196 lbs. My goal is 145 lbs.Β Iβm 64 years old, female, 5β4β tall.Β
I use an Apple Watch which works very nicely with MFP. I also enjoy exercise, though I have been far from consistent with all the stuff thatβs going on. To keep it simple, I will close my rings daily, log all my food, and hit my food goal.Thank you for hosting the challenge!Β I hope the format below is OK to use.
