Thanks for the advice on contacting Garmin, I had just order a generic cable on Amazon for 12 euros & it arrived this morning thankfully but I will email Garmin and see if they will send me a proper the as like @quilteryoyo says the generic one probably wont last.

@kgirlhart Good luck with your interview today!

I'll try to catch up with everyone else today while the kids are napping.

Nice running @kgirlhart . Those horses are beautiful.

@ContraryMaryMary I'm glad your back is better. When I was having back issues, the doctor's told me racking and vacuuming were the worst things to do because you have to pull and push in such unnatural ways.

Oh no @daria0919 . I hope your sprained ankle gets better soon! Sounds like you had a great weekend with your grandklds.

Love the new shoes @AlphaHowls . Where do your shoes go when you retire them? Mine usually become my mowing shoes.

We're glad you joined Strava @chris_in_cal . Sorry you haven't found your dream lady running partner yet.

Hahaha @John772016 . I don't tell Garmin what shoes I am running in. Keeps from being judged. I usually switch when my knees and shins tell me it's time. I'm glad you were able to run. Hope the doctors can find out what is causing the nerve pain and it's a quick fix.

I love how you multitask @Laurz9191 . Good luck with your taper and your HM. Fingers crossed for a great race and PR.

Great run @ContraryMaryMary and sounds like a fabulous morning. Love the shoe porn! Why can't I ever seem to find the pretty colors?

    Great running @tarun_yadavA .

Sounds like a great run this morning @Teresa502 . We had a gully washer here yesterday afternoon and are in for more rain/storms this afternoon and tonight. Hope you don't get hit too hard.

Hi all, I go away for the long weekend and wow so many posts. Liked as many as I could and congrats to all who had races.

    So far 112/175km

Did an overnight backpacking trip into the mountains. Plans got thwarted by high creek water levels from the spring run off. Did a teeny bit of trail running with the pack on but I was leaving the others in the dust so had to slow down. Forcast for the weekend held true and we had spots of sun and rain saturday and we manage to beat the incoming deluge for sunday, making it back to the car just as the rain started. It basically rained all day sunday after.

@Teresa502 - I never run with my phone either and hate having to carry anything extra on me.

There are some great shoe photos here over the past few days. Makes it very tempting to go shopping but I'm going to restrain myself this time.

Another cool, sunny, breezy day for a run. Didn't have a lot of time for a run but wanted to get out as we're supposed to get nothing but rain & some cooler temps for the next several days.

@WarmJellyfish That looks like an awesome trip. Such a beautiful spot! Glad you got out of there before the rains started on Sunday.

    Great running @Mari33a .

I wish I could run 5 miles when I didn't have much time for a run @John772016 . 😉 You did great. I hope you get some breaks in the rain. Rainy days (and Monday's) get me down.
