5/21 174.0 MFP would not load this morning so I’m posting 13 hours after seeing this number.
I have many doubts that I am anywhere this number now. It was opening day of the Farmers Market. First one where I was just a guest. This means all of the treats but none of the work that canceled them out!Hopefully I don’t bump too high. Starting with a new low will be a challenge to keep.
I am up for the challenge.

5/22 another toss turn no sleep night. I have no complaints just trying to find my rhythm - cortisol/stress is tough to manage. I know this “feeling” and it’s hard to maintain portion control. So I definitely tend to eat more when I don’t sleep well. I will develop a line of defense to combat. ✅🥩 but carbs too high - will 🙆♀️🚶♀️💓🏋️♂️ & focus on macros. Spending part of the day with DGS Tucker! hubby will be out of town for six days, so it will be easier “routining”

This may seem like great success, but actually it is great sickness. I guess I will go to the Dr. today at DW insistence. I should have gone yesterday but I can be a bit stubborn.5/22: 224 (1606 CI)
Many of my calories were from tablespoons full of honey. So carbs were crazy too. Dr. told me honey is one of the best cough suppressants there is. So I was all over that like a bear. She (Dr.) deemed it a virus, so nothing can be done for it med-wise. I feel a lot better this morning already. “I can do hard things!”I need to work on keeping the calorie count more like the past two days.

5/22 174.0 Now that is a delightful surprise! I had my doubts considering the size of the cupcake I scarfed down last night after my huge plate of jerk chicken with all of the sides!
Today is a complete wash out. I need to take advantage of this to get some desk work done.
I’ve got all of the good positive feelings this morning. I am going to make this day and this rainy holiday weekend a success.
I am excited to go to my favorite gym classes that I miss dearly during garden season. Thank you rain day! 45 minute ab class followed by an hour of barre, it’s going to hurt so good. I’m going to skip the third class which is an hour of yoga. I don’t have the time luxury of three hours at the gym.
lol I have friends that I’ve categorized as “house cats” they don’t get their paws dirty and are happy to watch someone do the hard things. No judgement! I adore house cats!!!!
I recently figured out that I’m a “working dog”. You know, the kind that require hours of physical movement or they bite people.

We used to have a "working dog." A Border Collie named OREO. Frisbee fetch was mandatory the minute I got out of bed and the minute I got home from work. My dog. I loved her to pieces.
Now we have a "house dog." (kind of like a house cat.) A Cavapoo named Poppy that hasn't seen a day of work in her life. My DW's dog. She's a puddle of cuddle. Loves to be handled like a stuffed animal. I like her (mostly.) HA!

5/21 – 129.4 What’s the expression “a day late and a dollar short”, well the 129ish showed up a day late. But better than never. Being back home and having more obligations is really making exercise a struggle. While I am not accomplishing what I planned or hoped, I am not allowing myself to just plain give up/give in and hoping to fine my rhythm. Calories can be good as long as I don’t let my head get in the way. Hopes for this round. Stay in the 129s or maybe even peek at 128. Tomorrow, I start living in TWO states MA and ME until September, but I am already pre-planning meals in an effort to keep this all going.
Oh and BTW, I am NOT having fun with this MOG dress shopping. Have bought 18 dresses so far, and none are the “one”. BUT I am learning/remembering what looks good on me. This photos of dresses on 5’10” size 4 models are really deceiving. I need to remember that too. Yesterday, I tried on a dress with a bid bow on the shoulder that came across like a pagant sash. OMG, I looked like a poorly wrapped x-mas present.
5/22 – 128.6 Is this my reward for behaving well yesterday?? I’m starting to get closer to the weights I hung out at for over a year (plus or minus 125). I just looked back at my old history numbers. It was right around now, last year, that I last saw a number in this range and started my long slow gain. So if I don’t return to that behavior this year (from now to 2026), that is better than a year ago. Oh, and I did got my walk in yesterday. Today, heading to Maine by 10:30. Got groceries to do, house to clean, packing and remembering what the heck I need up there. Plus taking 4 cats with us (babysitting daughter's plus out two). There is a small gym on the ground floor, so I might see if I can get that to entice me. :)

@MSWDiet Regarding binge eating. I fall to this also at times. Those who say "just don't have anything in the house" don't comprehend that when I get in that mode I will find "something", condiments, baking ingredients, etc. Doen't matter, I can always find something, so the goal is to not have a binge, or rather not trigger one. If I knew how to prevent them 100%, I would market it and be a millionaire. :) <3
@quiltingjaine So glad I brought some humor to your day. In my head, I really thought being at a better weight would produce a miracle in the dressing room. I really should be taking pictures!!!

I've made it to another round which for me is a great accomplishment. 🤞 Hoping that I complete this round on time each day.
Right now I'm a total scatter brain for a variety of reasons. While I need to do so much more I'm keeping my goals simple:
Post on time daily
Measure body fat weekly
Eat "protein first" according to the rules of my "Diet for Life"
Accept stress relief wherever I find it.
Under promise and over perform? Who knows. Stay POSITIVE. I may surprise myself.

5/21- 159.0 Still behaving badly. Poor sleep leads to all night grazing or dare I admit, binge eating. I despise that word however it's used. The bottom line is a loss of control.
Today needs to be busy. The challenge is will I get things done or will I have regrets later. Good 😇 Vibrations. Let's DO This!

05/21-195.4 💠 - (Trend Weight: 195.2) 3rd day in a row of the same weight. It was a pretty good day yesterday. I may have shown a loss if not for that rare cocktail I had last night. Actually, it was two….. Too much high calorie and high carb Orange Juice. Today I take my two oldes DGS’ for their hair appointments. Dinner out afterward which is customary. Sometimes I don’t eat and just get water. I suppose it depends on where we go. They pick so we’ll see.
🌺🌺🌺🌺 05/22 – 193.8 ✅ (Trend Weight – 195.2) I think I have what @_JeffreyD_ has,. I’ve been so sick for several days now. It didn’t slow me down the first couple of days but it’s taking it’s toll today. It’s a combined head and chest cold. Lots of snot & phlegm. Of course, it has not affected my appetite and I could eat a whole roasted pig if I wanted, but I’m definitely running out of tissue. I wonder how long it will take to get back to normal. DGS and daughter arrive today for 2-4 days as usual. Actually, up to 5 days since Monday is a Holiday. I don’t know their schedule yet. We will be celebrating Memorial Weekend while they are here. I hope she doesn’t overdo it on the food like she typically does. I’d like to keep the festivities involving foods that are out of plan to just one day. We may do the movies this weekend for Lilo & Stitch. I guess that depends how I feel. If I go, I’ll wear a mask to avoid spreading my head cold. That would also mean a restaurant. I don’t want to lose my progress so I must be very careful and thoughtful of every morsel I put in my mouth.

I often talk about finding my “why”. Pictured here is MY WHY. The longer I can keep up with my grandchildren, the fuller my life will be! This week: speaking at the City Council meeting Monday night… Tackling an adventure course with my grandson Thursday morning… With hardly any sleep between. Finding your WHY is so important! I’m glad I know mine! Rest needed then re-start!
