    I've been trying to track since Jan and I can't really get any traction with losing weight. I make some progress, but then I eat take out- pizza, chinese food etc, and it takes me a week to get my weight back down to what it was before.

    Just thinking out loud. The funny thing is, I don't even enjoy the take out much anymore. I guess it's convenient. I need to maybe look at how much I'm doing that and see if I can set some goals around it- the frequency. I will do that for June.

    **Stick to my calorie goals (1600, plus 100 on days I go in to the office- more movement/longer day).
    **If I go over, try not to go over by more than 300. So that I don't just give up and splurge higher and higher.

Only one day was out of whack (Saturday’s shopping excursion) out of 3 so far and I expect today’s to be good although we are just getting started. I know these unwarranted and unexpected weigh-ins and days happen so I’ll take it on the chin and soldier forward. God Bless America. May our fallen troops always be remembered!

    🌺🌺🌺🌺 05/27-193.2 ✅ - (Trend Weight: 194.4) Lots of movement yesterday on the holiday which I think really helped. My overall macros were “just okay” yet I have seen a drop today. And yesterday I was reporting a great day and saw an increase. It seems everything is running one day behind right now which is not always the case for me. I’ll keep that in mind so it helps with the emotions of it all.

    Almost at the end of the month. As I said yesterday, a bit discouraged but I have a couple ideas for some June goals to maybe help. In the last week, I did track 6/7 days so that is good improvement.

    Did well yesterday. I almost got takeout bc I didn't have much at home for dinner. AND instead of having a bowl of ice cream, I just had a pudding cup.

    🌺🌺🌺🌺 05/30-193.0 ✅ - (Trend Weight: 194.2) No weigh Friday but I decided to weigh anyway even if the times are not direct comparisons. Also, in all honesty I wanted to see how my ridiculous dinner affected me. Weekend Resident Foodie Daughter brought home more divine goods from the Resort/Country Club she works at that has their own bakery, but also commissions some of the finest baked goods around. I stuck to my pre-logged foods until about 5:00. It started when I attended a school function with DGS where we were met at the front door by the hot dog and chips stand. Who can resist FREE? Also, who can resist dinner when you haven’t eaten it yet (I usually eat at 8:00). Then snack was the luxurious food from daughter. I opted for 2 ½ stunning overly sweet cookies with 8 oz of real 2% milk (not my usual lower carb Fairlife brand). I’m surprised at the drop on the scale. I anticipate that maybe this will show up tomorrow but for now, I will relish in it (pardon the hot dog pun).

    I’m back for another month! Love the MAY Mantra and hope to adopt it as well. My goal is to work towards overall improved health by eating healthier and increasing activity.

    Still on vacation and with no scale. I’ve been trying to make healthier eating decisions but admit to indulging in a cocktail and slice of Key Lime pie here and there.     Ah sorry about the car. I won't ask about the kangaroo. When I was a kid, my mother hit a deer. Our car looked much like that.

    🌺🌺🌺🌺 05/31 – 191.8 ✅ (Trend Weight – 194.0) A nice whoosh into the hoop in the last seconds of the game. I made goal for the first time in a very very long time. I’m sure the weight loss will level off rather quickly, but hopefully it will still be down and continuing it’s current projectory. This is my best month in a long time. Fingers crossed for June. I can’t wait to see you all there! I love readying all your posts!.
