My husband and I went to an early morning event with 400 people, and then we celebrated with a pile of tacos. The tacos were AMAZING. So was the sodium, I guess. So we'll let this bleed off for a day or two.

SofaKween I understand how you feel. I wish there was a good answer. Or that there were more splurgey foods with zero/low calories. Splurging with Salad isn't exactly what I mean. :) My Saturdays are very much a sabotage, but it's the one day I'm doing it. It slows the loss dramatically, but this is what I'm agreeing to. I didn't get to this weight in 5 mos. It's not coming off in 5 mos. or 10 mos. The other tool I use to track my weight tells me on Sundays that I'll reach my goal weight by 2029. But by Thursday, when the scale normalizes, it has me at my goal weight by the end of 2026/early 2027. Not that I'm happy about that, but I think that too will get better as I continue to lose. With less weight on me, I'll move better/easier, etc. It's not all about the scale either.

I'm wondering if you can take your Friday weights and plug those into WeightGrapher and see what that trend looks like, vs. the daily trend? Maybe that would be a better visual for you?

Have a good rest of the weekend, everyone!

I’m happy I am not alone in this struggle to lose any weight this month (so far). I got very close to 145 lbs in 2023 and stayed there for almost a year……until last fall when when one pound up led to another. I did lose back then by reducing wine, and snack foods and know I have been too relaxed with these this year. The empty calories!
But I did have a great lab report at my annual physical this past week. With the exception my beloved doctor would like to see me lose 5-8 pounds to increase longevity and avoid health issues. He suggested lowering bad fats and bad carbs (processed foods, right)? And of course move more. I am taking this to heart. DH and I grilled chicken breast, prime top sirloin and asparagus, peppers and squash to get with the program. I do like to eat healthy when I have time to shop, prep and cook - Very delicious!

    14 June – 56.3kg – Saturday
    15 June – 56.2kg – Sunday
    16 June – 56.1kg

Lazy Sunday.  Need to be less lazy today and tick off some of the tasks I need to get done.

Sensible words @ManifestingToday - I think I need to accept that the water weight losses i've had on several nights are false losses that will likely go back on. I do have wine most Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings but so long as I can avoid snacking then it's included within my daily calorie allowance. Realistically I wanted to lose the weight slowly and if I look at Monday trends, then that's what i'm doing so I have no reason to be annoyed really.

Wow ok so that’s the vacation weight coming off. Mostly water I guess. I am feeling pretty squishy and my jeans are pretty tight but a few weeks back to normal and it’ll hopefully resolve.

Back from the weekend equine event. VERY TIRED and now to get back to work mode.. Its going to be a tough two weeks because one coworker is out who primarily supports one client . I generally don't get too involved with this particular client and they are a full time hand holding job with alot of different way of doing things outside of our standard support contracts….So feeling a bit anxious about having to step in.

I am cautiously optimistic here on this weight. I ate pretty terrible all weekend I will admit, including one night we went and got very greasy chinese food. I had a couple of spiked seltzer two of the nights but only 1 drink (low calorie) per night.

I just didn't have near enough time to plan ahead and get the food I needed to stay on track because things got hectic last week. I can only get so much done in a day when I am working full time. ( and was preparing for this horseshow, which was very fun and I walked away with way better scores than I ever expected .

Our niece is still here for this week. She was a pretty good helper at the show but by about the second day the exuberance of the vast amount work involved started to wain , which was fine.. she's a teenager so I wasn't even expecting the help she did give. She's a good kid. Her mom arrives Friday so we may have another weekend of sightseeing ahead. Weather is supposed to get cool and wet so we will have to see.

Back to reality and getting back onto some sort of schedule

    Happy Monday everyone

Did my cleaner eating over the weekend and stopped with dinner, no snacks afterwards. I can feel a difference in my body without the nighttime snacks.
Tonight I’m making grilled rock cod tacos on Siete tortillas with lime crema.
