    And Week 5 comes to an end…
    If I were like most of you, I'd say I met my week 5 goal. But I use my 7 day average, so I'm still a bit away from it, but definitely making progress this week. I'm keeping my week 6 goal the same 145. I did some really gentle yoga before bed yesterday and feel like I slept much better. We are camping again Friday to Tuesday. I know what I need to do to maintain this recent loss while camping … don't drink alcohol every day! For some reason, we think nothing of drinking a glass or two of wine or having a mixed drink every day while camping. When we are at home, we have usually follow a 'weekends only' rule.

    @Zaxa2021 If you use your 7 day average then your weight for week 5 is 142.8. I'd call that a success for the week!

    I missed my goal for week 5 by 1.4 pounds, and because I'm above my non-negotiable goal line, my goal for week 6 will be 1.4 + 1.3 = 2.7 pounds below my starting weight. (This really will be a 100 day challenge!)

    Hi everyone.

    I am Dawn. I live in SE British Columbia Canada. I am 5'2" (or 5'3"?) and 64 years of age. I have done a bunch of these 100s now, I have lost count lol. I was sitting at 130 for quite awhile, trying desperately to get into the 120s, but gained little by little over the last couple of years. My "ideal" weight should be between 110-118 for my height, BMI, and stuff. At this point I just really want to get back into the 130s.

    Week 1 Start Weight: 144.4

    Week 1 Goal: 142.4 (seems lofty, but I was at 143.0 for two days in a row at the end of the last 100)

    Week 1 Actual Weight: 144.2- Hit 142.6 this week, the day before the end of our week, which was so close to my goal.

    Week 2 Start Weight: 143.2

    Week 2 Goal: 142.4 - Trying for the same goal as last week

    Week 2 Actual Weight: 143.0 (Once in 100 days Ribs eaten, hit 142.2 this week)

    Week 3 Start Weight: 143.6

    Week 3 Goal: 141.8

    Week 3 Actual Weight: 139.6 - Hit 139.0 this week.

    Week 4 Start Weight: 139.6

    Week 4 Goal: 138.0

    Week 4 Actual Weight: 141.8, saw 139.0 again.

    Day 29—06/12— 141.2 - Down a touch from yesterday. Power went out downtown and I almost got out early from my second job, then it came back on. 19 more days now until 1 day off. I can do it : - ) 2 jobs today.

    Day 30—06/13— 140.6 - Rushing this morning.

    Day 31—06/14— 140.6 - I was home from work just after 6pm and worked in the garden until almost dark out. I opted for hummus and water crackers + the last of my fresh asparagus from last week's farmer's market for "dinner". So glad that I got the asparagus while it was at the end of the season. Weighed quite early this morning, no bathroom trip as of yet. I do feel leaner this morning, but the scale doesn't reflect it. Burned more calories than I took in yesterday including hours in the yard, fitness marshall, plus always lots of steps waitressing. The "in 5 weeks" comment always just teases me. My calories in are usually somewhere between 1100 and 1200. Missed breakfast completely yesterday trying to get things done in the morning before work since I have zero days off to get stuff done. Stanley Cup playoffs game 5 tonight, surely I burn some calories with all of the anxiety of that lol. I had better add some beans to whatever I am going to have for dinner later, my Fiber intake could be better. They do help with protein, but pretty much all protein elevates the Fat column.

    Day 32—06/15— 140.4 - Long day ahead at work, and I was up way too early. All good. I have a few things that I would like to accomplish this morning, including breakfast, which I missed for a couple of days. Egg whites with 1/2 a slice of swiss cheese and one piece of toast is on the menu. Sunday morning breakfast. Happy Father's Day to the fathers.

    Day 33—06/16— 138.4 - Everything takes a few days to register on the scale. Lots of days of burning more than I took in showing up now? Calculated my hours this past 2 weeks, 106.5 egad! 15 days now until a day off, so past the halfway mark of the 35 straight. Yesterday was 10 hours and I ate quite late, but really had to eat. I took lots of food to work but didn't get much of a chance to eat much. I did eat my strawberries and my yoghurt/granola thing.

    Day 34—06/17— 139.2 - Up .8 today. Light workday, I will be off at 3 and then go hard in the garden until the hockey game. Stats are good. I did miss breakfast though.

    Day 35—06/18— 141.6 - Ouch! I had a short shift yesterday, so spent many hours working in the yard after that. I always see an uptick after that, which usually goes back down over the course of 3 days or so. I am aiming for 130.0 or less by my September birthday, the weight that I was at for my birthday in 2022.

    Week 5 Goal: 138.0 - trying for that again

    . Hi. I’m an unretired (by choice) senior from central B.C., Canada. Back for another round. After being an absolute backsliding turtle for the past ?18 months, my Ultimate challenge goal is to lose 20lbs.

    Week 2: 180.8 ( +2.8) Need to be more resilient when dealing with a lot of moody people

    Day 29 ~ 06/12: 177 yeah!! Down 5 from highest on May 26th! That was just unacceptable! Road trip yesterday made for a long day. Arms wts + Walked 45 min after dinner.

    Day 32 ~ 06/15: 178

    Day 33 ~ 06/16: 178.2 Altho work days are my busiest and I’m super tired by the end, they also result in wt gains.

    Day 34 ~ 06/17: 178.4 Busy day but incl 90 minutes on the water.

    Day 35 ~ 06/18: 177.6 So happy to see 177 again!

    More than ever, I need to focus on my health. I know what to do, I just need to work on consistency.

    Total Challenge gain/loss to date (week 4): 1.6 lb loss

    Week 5

    Day 29—06/12—143.5 Trying to be consistent with being consistent. Did a strength training workout and walked the dog yesterday.

    Day 30—06/13—143.5 Stayed on track with what I ate but dinner was a bit late. Worked out and took the dog for a walk.

    Day 31—06/14—143.8 Added some unhealthy snacks to the mix yesterday. Took the dog for a walk.

    Day 32—06/15—144.2

    Day 33—06/16—143.0 I’m surprised at this. Definitely went off-track yesterday celebrating Father’s Day. And tonight I’m meeting a friend at the newest sushi spot in the area. I'll try my best not to over do it.

    Day 34—06/17—143.8 I was determined to skip dessert, but we all knew that wouldn’t happen. I shared it though, so that’s a win. Took the dog for a walk on the beach.

    Day 35—06/18—144.3 Two dinner events this past week caught up to me. 
    Doesn’t help that my husband who is on another island taking care of his mom, left all of his snacks back home with me. My 7-day averages are trending down though so I'm happy about that.
