I'm planning Thai inspired tofu fried rice with pineapple and cashews, tonight.

I'm going to try making Chile Colorado (chile con carne) again. It's lean beef stewed until very tender in a flavorful red sauce. I've tried making it before, but it just wasn't quite right. Try, try again!
The beef is reasonable calories. I'll have some canned refried beans and a low calorie tortilla and some sweet peppers too. Skipping the rice.

It's restaurant night, tonight. Probably the sushi place. 😋 I usually just get a few appetizers or soup and a roll.

I made black bean burgers. They turned out very mushy but still edible. I think I may have over processed the ingredients and added too much bean juice. Even so I think I’ll try another recipe next time.

II'm planning to cookout tonight on the grill..not sure what, though. My dad used to make the best grilled chicken basted with a mustard type sauce. I'm trying to figure out the recipe and maybe use it in turkey burgers.

It was all stormy last night, and I ended up making pasta with peas and tuna...

Husband is making brats. I will have 1 Johnsonville jalapeno cheddar brat, 7 tator tots, 4 mini peppers, 0.5 oz light ranch, and 2 Tbsp ketchup. No calories left for a bun tonight! 451 calories.

I like Food Network Jerk Turkey Burgers
This week we’re also doing shredded chicken taco bowls. I put chicken breasts in crock pot all day with chicken broth, salsa, fajita powder, canned green chiles and a little salsa. It shreds and I eat on it all week. 3-4 ounces shredded cooked chicken with half a cup of lime cilantro rice, quarter cup black beans, one pre packaged serving of guacamole. Lasts for days.

4 oz chicken breast in a curry sauce (made from a spice kit), 100 grams cooked white rice, and 3 ounces of cooked broccoli.

Egg roll in a bowl. Ground pork, a bag of coleslaw mix, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and some rice

my latest favorite has been garlic and honey pork (or chicken)..usually with rice. Pan sear the meat with salt and pepper. Take out of pot. Sauté garlic, add honey, then some soy sauce. Mis it all together and stir for a couple minutes. Then add meat back in. Cook until meet is cooked through. Usually 5-10 minutes

No leftovers! I'm going to try those chickpeas out with a tortellini dish tonight.

Totally not cooking today. I've had sesame burger buns with barbecue pulled pork from the supermarket, roast onions and pickled gherkins on top. And a side salad of white beans, cucumber, cherry tomatoes and a bit of basalmico. Comes down to about 560kcal and is super filling.

I like the chickpeas. Would be really good on a summery salad with a lot of olives. I might try this week!
Having the ole Monday standby..maple meatballs, green beans, and roasted potatoes tonight.
