Picture day is done. My son has moved home. My house is practically empty now. Once it is listed on MLS I’ll post the link. The Realtor, Amy, said someone has called interested in the property already. So I am hoping for multiple offers.

The best part of having the house done and the pictures taken and my son going back home, I will be able to restart my eating plan again. With David here we have probably had 6 to 8 pizzas including today while he has been here. I’ll get on the scale tomorrow and find out where I’m starting at.

Well, as I said, several people are “going anyway”, & I will likely be one of ‘em unless Charles takes a turn for the worse…
Today was a long exhausting day for both of us, but more so for Charles as he has been so isolated - but he said he had people in & out all day, getting his oxygen tank** set up, bringing him a walker & so forth… He said he’s also getting an electric wheelchair. ** with tubing that will reach to his back porch, we’ll worry about getting him some sort of portable unit later. (I had looked into one for my mom, but she refused to spend the money. I finally gave up)

I was so tired last night, I didn’t plug my iPad into its charge cord so I’m sitting here awkwardly this AM, leaning towards the L armrest of the recliner (the side towards the plug). What an idjit!!! I feel like even more of an idjit as my weight is up another 2 lbs - that equals Mickey D’s fries & McNuggets for lunch, failure to defrost some hamburger meat last night so once again I snacked on queso dip & tortilla chips for dinner…
So I get ya on “getting back on plan”. I was limping through my barn this morning, asking myself if this was “rock bottom” - the point where I’d finally wake up, get serious about eating right & exercising… No time like the present, amirite??
As always, the longest journey begins with a single step.

Sleep sucked again.
I was doing so well until i decided I need to move.
My weight yesterday was 226. I was a very good girl with my first day back to eat right. Went shopping after my hair cut and didn’t buy any sweets.

I’m so glad your friend is finally getting the help he needs. I hope the rest of his days goes smoother.

I didn’t talk to Charles himself yesterday, but his neighbor called me - hospice tried to deliver an electric wheelchair, Charles refused to allow it into his house. He has a point because it would be really impractical in his beach house with the sunken living room & steps everywhere - he would really only be able to roll from his bedroom to the kitchen & dining room. Also a “use it or lose it” situation where he needs to maintain as much of his mobility as he can - I’m hoping with oxygen supplementation he will do better. (He had a footed cane & they just delivered him a walker also)
But let’s talk about MEEEE!!! I slept fairly well - stringing together about an hour of deep sleep seems to be key. I didn’t set an alarm but my eyelids popped open at 7:01. My weight back down to 191 after minor diuresis yesterday - I don’t even remember eating anything particularly high-sodium? But come to think of it, I snacked on about half a can of Pringles during the drive (pure crap, I know but it’s something to do as the miles roll by)
Zach called me last night, so far so good although he’s already bored with the nightlife of Tampa 😉. He’s off Friday & is going to drive across Florida to visit his aunt in Fort Lauderdale, which is good. They’ll go out on Cousin Derek’s boat if weather cooperates.

Val, you got deep keep and REM sleep. Compared to my sleep that is awesome. The stress in my life is still keeping me from deep and REM sleep.
Pringles are terrible for salt. When I finally got on the scale this am I was down to 223. I didn’t like my dinner tonight. I tried some new frozen chicken wings. They were awful. I won’t buy them again. So I decided to have ice cream, but I can honestly say I didn’t eat as much as I usually do so that was good. My stomach felt awful afterwards. I’m not supposed to eat dairy. I took some digestive enzymes. That helped quite a bit, but I still feel a little bloated. Tomorrow is Friday and I’ll do better. Especially planning my meals. I have everything I need in my freezer and I’m gonna give the second box of chicken wings away.
I’m hoping tonight will be a better sleep we’ll see what happens.

I might just give up on trying to sleep. Another lousy night
I haven’t gotten out of bed yet. I was hoping to go back to sleep.
