My sleep came in 2 sessions. Yes the sleep is definitely from the CBN/THC combo. My sleep was interrupted by having to pee and not being able to go back to sleep quickly. The combo did allow for an hr and 44 minutes of deep sleep. The more deep sleep I get the more rested I feel.

David and his son have been here since Saturday. David is giving his dad a break from the busyness of son.

I move in 2 weeks this week and weekend I’m working on packing anything that I do not need to use until move day

Again sleep came in 2 sessions. Would love it if I slept with out having to pee would be nice. My sessions added up to 90 minutes of deep sleep.

    IMG_3302.jpeg IMG_3303.jpeg

So my total REM sleep was over 2 hrs so that is not bad.

Idiot that I am, I just navigated away from this page & lost the long comment I typed!?!

My Fitbit recorded 7.5 hrs of sleep for me last night: 1.5 hours deep sleep, 1 hr 49 minutes of REM with about an hour awake between 1:00 - 2:10 AM. Overall it was a pretty decent night, even though my overall energy levels & stamina remain low. I’m not helping myself by continually falling back into the convenient trap of fast food…

Unfortunately, every time I try to get serious about carnivore, my GI tract rebels. Tomorrow I have an appointment at the sports medicine clinic to see if he has any bright ideas for my assorted joint pains. The worst was my knee, but last week’s ankle pain was no fun either!

& this morning, while I technically scored higher, I feel like crap probably because I had fallen back into a light doze right before my alarm went off…

We had a steady drizzling rain most of the night, which is always pleasant to sleep through! We also needed the precipitation, but I hope it dries off mañana as I need to repack the horse trailer for a quickie campout this weekend (back to Wyatt Ranch)

I forgot to take my sleep oil and it showed in my sleep. Holy cow that is different.

I thought I fell asleep sooner than this. I feel like I didn’t sleep either. I woke up to my son picking his stuff. He is moving home for a few days.

I was blessed with a nine-minute call from Mijo last night when he went out to get himself a cheeseburger** - but mostly I came to sing the praises of shockwave therapy - the clinic treated my knees yesterday & they feel amazing! When they hit a sore spot, you just have to get your teeth & get through it, but I had a full range of motion with no pain immediately…

** no real news, I guess he just wanted to hear the sound of my voice?!?

Anyway, I immediately signed up for an eight-week course of treatment - it’ll be a little tricky getting away over the lunch hour to do my Tuesday treatments, but I’ll work it out - it’ll be worth it. That gives me no excuse not to start walking again.

Last night was fairly decent, although I’m a little groggy from that little snippet of REM sleep right before 7 AM

I’m also ordering casual clothes for Vegas in little bits n’ pieces - I am awaiting Victoria‘s instructions on whether it’s acceptable for me to dye my old wedding dress? (She had actually mentioned dyeing it black, but I really would rather have a pastel color 😳)

Good luck with the dress and wedding stuff. It’s always nice to just spend time talking with your kid.

I fell asleep so fast last night but once again I got up to pee and could not get back to sleep. At least none tht registered.

Victoria bought her wedding dress Monday - she had taken her mom who told her she was going to help pay for it - but Celeste’s credit card was declined, so Victoria had to put it all on hers. She said she’d like me to come along when she goes to pick it up in December - I reminded her once again of when I’m available (although if she gives me enough advance notice I could probably shift my schedule around) Let me see if I can post a photo - of course it is gorgeous which it should be for the price! (Take a wild guess)

Unfortunately she is now trying to guilt-trip/strong-arm Z into paying for all these extra family members (aunt, uncles, cousins) that she wants to bring along to Vegas. I hope they can work it out - if V can’t corral her free-spending tendencies I don’t see any hope for this relationship 😔

Oh wow. I wouldn’t try to guess the price of that. That is a lot of lace. I hope your Z stands firm on not paying. If he delays long enough maybe she will change her mind again

My sleep is not accurate today. I did not wake up until 8 to pee so I don’t know what Fitbit thinks I did from 6 am to 8 am but I was not awake

So I have a better sleep record. Apparently Fitbit didn’t sync properly this am. So here is the better sleep record I got. This one shows that I got over an hour of deep sleep and over an hour of REM sleep. This one makes a little more sense.

It seems according to Fitbit I slept really well last night. I’m not so sure. I’m still yawning.

    IMG_3326.jpeg

I move in 4 days. If I’m not posting it’s because I’m packing.

I think the whole purpose of these mini-summer campouts I’ve been doing is to help me appreciate “the comforts of home” (i.e. air conditioning!)

I drove over to Wyatt Ranch Friday night after work bcz Alice planned to ride out at 7:30, but between this, that, & the other things, we didn’t hit the trails until almost 10 AM (I could’ve slept in my own bed w/AC until 5 AM, & still driven in with time to spare) - here’s Friday night:

I got a little more rest Sat night, only with a lot of sweat…

I’ve done OMAD all weekend, may be smacking my head against the wall if those scales don’t shift a little bit! Maybe it’s as my son said, we’re meant to be fat 🤦‍♀️

Best of luck on the moving… I shudder to look at all the crap around here that will have to be cleared out when I can no longer manage life on the farm. (I’ve joked about them taking me out feet first)

I’m fairly groggy this morning because I had a short episode of REM sleep right before I woke up:

My weight remain stuck solidly at 193, part of which I blame on 2 days of riding inflammation. Everything is pleasantly sore, but nothing a little ibuprofen won’t smooth over. I look like a melting ice cream cone in the photos my friend snapped

That’s the “best” one which ain’t saying much, but at least my pony looks good!!!

Wow. That is a lot. I’m so worried about this move. My sons friend can’t help us until after work so I think Thursday is going to be a clusterf@@k for sure. I think my sleeping getting worse. Gosh I wil be glad when this is over.

Yikes! I had to keep a deathwatch over a poor little heat-stroked Frenchie last night… And it wasn’t as if the owners were careless or neglectful - they live in a trailer house where the AC had gone out & she came in with a temperature of 110°

I gave them a grave prognosis, but poor weeping girl wanted me to “try” & I did - but there’s no recovery from a crisis like this, she started having seizures from the brain damage about 10 PM & passed away around midnight. I waited until this morning to call the owners…

So that’s my Wednesday, off to a grim start. I hope & pray your move is not too terrible. Good luck!

I’m so sorry to hear about the poor patient. It would be tough.
I had the best sleep last night. I actually feel rested. Tomorrow I move today in 25 min the new owners come for their final walk through. Today after the visit Davey my son moves in for the move. I am really nervous about this move. I have less help this time than I did last time.

Good luck!!! I don’t envy you in the least, this is gonna be an ordeal…

My project today is going to be transporting my poor ol’ flat-tired, rusty & dusty neglected trike to the bike shop to get it cleaned up, tuned up & in good working order again… I may not be able to ride it very far, and I certainly don’t feel like tackling any of the hills in our neighborhood! but I can drive to some of the nearby bike paths & do a little something as the weather starts to cool off. I scratched up my arm, got myself covered in grease & dust wrestling it into my truck so I need to go take a shower. My side trip will be taking Zach’s old mountain bike to my friend Toni - she expressed an interest in rehabbing it so she has something she can ride. We can creep down the bike paths together 😳😊
191.8 this AM which equals leftover lasagne Tues night + pizza yesterday. Not the best but not the worst, as long as I can stay within spittin’ distance of 190. Everything I’ve researched recommends Level 2 cardio and cycling seems to be the best option for me…

We are done. It took all flipping day. We left my old house around 5. It took less time to un pack the moving truck and movers I called at 9:30 this morning to get today taken care of. I highly recommend getting movers to move

Just got back home after meeting a client up in Big D for this long complicated process of getting kittens on a flight to the East Coast for adoption. Believe it or not, there is an apparent shortage of kittens up there - these will go to New Hampshire. I took the horse trailer to combine this errand of mercy with a training ride for Twoie at the Audubon Center. (He had brought the kittens to the clinic last week, where we had hoped to line them up with foster care but they’re shorthanded - so now I’m gonna have him transport them to the SPCA) As I said, it’s such a “process” that I’m almost sorry that I got involved, but he’s been my client for 30 yrs from “way back when” I worked up in Dallas so I wanted to help him out…

(He’s also the client that gave me my darling baby tortoise Athena, so I owe him a few “favors” 😉😊)

This was Twoie’s first solo ride with me - he did very well but was not particularly high energy (that’s alright, it was hot!)

Wow. You had an interesting weekend. Me I spent mine trying to get sleep and waiting for all the aches to disappear. I still have some. My knees are killing me

I think this website on screwy. You can edit anything or added anything in edit. My sleep wasn’t long. 5 hrs. That first pee of the morning ruined it. Not to mention, today is fence day. I’m having a fence installed for the dogs today and a dog door.

My deep sleep still sucks. 6 hrs of sleep with only 30+ minutes of deep sleep. No wonder I still feel tired. My fence is going up. The plumber will be here today.

I’m still horrible about absent-mindedly navigating away from the page before I have saved my commentary & then I lose it all! Not to mention everyday glitches…

I don’t even wanna look at last night’s sleep - I tossed & turned, had to get up twice to pee & then I had a horrible cramp in my right IT band (right above ankle, deflecting my whole foot! It looked & felt pretty gruesome) around 6 AM. I also restart my shockwave treatments on my knees Thursday “just in time” because they are starting to bother me again (especially the R one). My weight was 190.8 this morning - considering I grabbed Taco Bell for lunch yesterday & splurged on the Luby's fried fish for dinner, I’ll take it!

Deep Thoughts for another time as my son asks me probing questions about weddings & marriages & family arrangements…
