You seem to want to know what people usually eat for breakfast. Oats, eggs, toast, yogurt, and fruit are typical morning foods, though this varies by person and country. One person might eat oats with fruit and cucumber on the side, for instance, while another might have a more complex meal, such as dark chocolate oats and a potato pancake. Other well-liked options include boiled eggs, roti with veggies, and besan cheela, a savory pancake.

@Redux6 is on my wavelength. When I woke, I had tea, milk, and honey. At ~10, I ate a banana and 1oz mixed unsalted nuts.

I decided about 2 years ago that I was eating too much for breakfast (usually about 500kcals), so I cut it back to just tea, milk, and honey. I was hoping this alone would drop my weight without logging, but it didn't. Finally, in the past winter, I dropped ~10% of my bodyweight using the usual overall calorie restriction (careful logging). By summer, I was at my goal weight. I've been pushing exercise. I wish I could coax myself to get up at 6AM and have at it, but I much prefer to exercise at 5p. Still, after evening exercise, by 10AM the next morning I'm ravenous, and I can't get my work done without eating something. Enter the banana!

Leftover Chinese takeaway! The food was from a Yunnan place (near Burma) so plenty of unusual dishes. Rice, aubergine with minced pork, pork loin with porcini and green pepper. Yunnan mashed potato with dried chilli and pickled vegetable.
