@SofaKween - I had no idea you could do jewelry making classes on line. Have you found it to be easy to learn ? That is something I have thought might be fun to learn at some point.
Dropped off the truck to the dealer last night. (not sure if posted here about this but I sold my dream truck) Its bittersweet but we no longer need two trucks. My equine activities are scaling back and I am no longer traveling to competitions like I once did on weekends so don't need to haul much beyond a few local trips here and there. My priorities are shifting and therefore it no longer made sense to pay for this expensive vehicle. I have my old standby SUV that I have had since 2010. Its been a great car and I still love driving it but I do need to replace with something as its getting tired (108K miles on it now ) Hoping to find another small AWD SUV that more affordable and economical than a 1 ton pick up.

I honestly kicked the scale. I starved the 2nd half of yesterday until dinner. Two meals. 5.5 hrs sleep. I was so excited to see 207's. This just makes me feel so defeated.6 -

@HappyDonkey75 - it was a very structured course and I found some of it really hard but I learned a lot. Some of it techniques that i'm never going to try again!! I think if i'd been an absolute beginner I would have really struggled so my recommendation if you want t give it a try is to find a face-to-face short course somewhere and see how it goes.

This was meant to be a draft and posted Wednesday.. but I hit submit instead of save as draft.. oopsβ¦
Yesterdays workout plan got sidelined by a fast hitting major stomach issue while I was in town doing a bit of shopping. I grabbed a half Chicken Avo BLT sandwhich at Panera bread , one which I normally order, ate in my car while catching up on emails before running into the store to grab a few items. In the middle of shopping , bam.. stomach not happy.. to point the pain was so bad I broke out in a cold sweat and felt like I was going to pass out. Obviously cut my shopping short and somehow managed to get myself checked out and hobbled to my car barely able to walk. Drove home , took some digestive enyzymes and laid on the couch with some peppermint tea before finally going to bed. The pain mostly subsided but I was pretty sure I was going to lose my cookies a couple of time on the drive home. The other half of the sandwhich my hubby ate, in spite of the potential issue and he was fine.. brave soul I guess.. but that rules out food poisoning. I think I know what it might have been . I have an allergy and vasovagual response to ground pepper and I think there might have been some on the bacon.

I had a sort of epiphany yesterday. This may be obvious to some already. Iβm taking a break from GLP meds now that Iβve been on them 6 months. And the hunger signals have come back. I realized that before glp meds, whenever I had super strong hunger cues my mind would equate that with a need for a correspondingly large, calorie dense meal. But thatβs not real. Sometimes if youβre absolutely starving you can still be fully satisfied with an apple and some cheese. I donβt have to reach for the giant greasy breakfast sandwich just cause Iβm super hungry. I think a big part of the problem with obesity is misunderstanding the cues your body is giving you. That plus genetics. And tacos, haha.

- Got to enjoy family time(mostly)
- Have been mostly knee pain free since getting below 160 lb range (interesting that it didn't improve before now which tells me even 160's is too high of a weight for my frame and joints)
- Liking the fact that all my shorts and pants are hanging on me-People are noticing my weightloss now more than any other time since I started this a year and half ago.. which is odd that it took me losing nearly 60 lbs before it was noticeable..?
- Not weight related, but got rid of a big financial burden with the expensive truck sale which is a mental health relief.
Areas to improve
(bummed that I hit a nice low number for two days and it didn't stay there)
I have not been pushing myself in the gym as much as previously, need to do better
Eating a few too many treats still
Have not gotten out to enjoy the outdoors near enough with kayaking and hiking , need to get my kayak out
Sleeping needs to improve, not sure how to make that better with out stronger medication at this point, nothing seems to be working but looking into Semax/Selank peptides to tryβ¦
I can't believe July is over..its been a very busy month so looking forward to a slow down for August

I just realized I screwed up my last post! π I donβt know how I managed that.
Well, I didnβt reach my goal. It was a problematic month. I had a snacking problem at night which seems to have resolved itself now and changing to a new scale showed me 2lbs heavier. Also I struggled with hunger.
