    Day 23β€”09/14β€”144.6Β Β A lot of cleaning / moving yesterday. Minimal carbs and sugar.

    Day 25β€”09/16β€”145.4Β Β Ate well yesterday but had some 'healthy' snacks after midnight.Β 
    Yesterday’s workout: weights, core, leg extensions to strengthen my knees and hip stretches for mobility.

    Day 26β€”09/17β€”146.4Β Β Food choices were on point. Headed out early today. Kaya has an appointment to be spayed.
    Yesterday’s workout: walk Kaya for 45-min, peloton class for 15-min with weighted vest, stretches.

    Day 27β€”09/18β€”145.6Β Β Woke up to an overcast & breezy morning, with the sun peeking thru the clouds. No clouds over Haleakala though. Majestic as ever.

    Day 28β€”09/19β€”145.8Β Β I expected my weight to drop a bit given my diet and exercise this past week. My weight this morning is not aligning to how I feel which is much less bloated.Β

    Day 29β€”09/20β€” 139 lb. Forgot to mention last Monday the plaster cast was removed from my arm/wrist. Now I have a light vinyl one, which I can remove when showering - Yay! now I can shower by myself. Have to do exercises every 2 hours, no problems with that so far.

    Week 5 Goal: 138.5 lb. After the initial steep drop in the first 10 days (I jumped in on Day 20), I'm expecting the rate of loss to slow down. Plus I have a few social functions coming up - will do my best to stay within calorie "budget", but it's difficult to estimate calories for prepared food eaten away from home.
